My JS Set Sail pass I printed out last week shows Suite!
Got to be careful w/ those next cruise personnel. One stuck us on a balcony room that so small, it was unusable. That's why DH won't consider an itinerary onboard. They won't let us study the deck plans enough prior to booking.
Why don't you do your homework first? Go to one of the computer terminals and study the RC site. It's free and a good way to be knowledgeable about the cruise or cruises you wish to consider. You already know what you want when heading to Next Cruise and it makes their life easier. I do this all the time and I'm usually out of there in 10 minutes if the computers are actually functioning properly! Just a thought...

The pinnacle pin is significantly different from the pins employees wear. However a few years ago, although uncommon, occasionally ships gave a few of their frequent cruisers a pin identically to what was worn by the ship staff. It did indeed cause some problems and eventually Miami sent out a memo stating that if you had one you were no longer permitted to wear it.
And I even know who you are talking about... :)

Our last cruise on Navigator was a connecting stateroom. First day they tried to open the door multiple times. Had to yell that it wasn't their closet! After that, no noise at all.

Next cruise, next month! :D

On our Navigator TA next year the port side JS on the hump are actually $300 MORE than the ones on the starboard side! Even the next cruise staff were scratching their heads on that one!

As far as I'm concerned, that are no cons regarding a B2B! :D

I think I can give you some food for thought...
We were in the same position having booked a B2B on Serenade for Feb/Mar 2018. Right after booking onboard the second cruise showed sold out. At this point I did some checking and Melissa Etheridge chartered the entire ship. I did nothing and left our booking alone until RC contacted us. At that point we had already come up with a backup plan on another ship. Upon contacting the redeployment department (note this is who you need to speak with) we told them we did not want either cruise that RC wanted to put us on. They said fine, moved our reservation with no problem but did not give us any additional OBC. Don't even bother trying to argue as you'll get nowhere.
So choose another cruise that will fit into your spring break plans and tell RC what you want. As I said you won't get the additional OBC but you'll still keep your original one.
And DON'T let yourself get stressed out by this... it's out of your control.

We had this happen to us last year and the certificate was never mailed. Luckily I followed up with a phone call to RC. They took care of it over the phone for me. I even offered to email them the proof from the ship but said it wasn't necessary. All I can say is call and keep calling until you are satisfied!
Good Luck,

Every time that I know of someone receiving an upgrade to a GS or above, I hear about them receiving an invoice for the additional ($3 per person per day) gratuities.
Hmm, last May we got upgraded from a JS to an OS and did not pay anymore for automatic gratuities! We did of course tip extra at the end but there was no invoice...

We just did this when we got off of Navigator 2 weeks ago! Do NOT like MIA so booked our return flight home out of FLL. Upon disembarking, we went to the far right almost up where the road turns (out of everyone's way), called Uber and got a nice ride up to FLL for $31 for both of us... piece of cake! For comparison, RC wants to charge you $30 EACH for transfer to FLL.

Who is the new captain, hotel director and LA? Is Nadja in the CL? I may find all new faces when I cruise on 2/12[emoji15].

Current Diamond Concierge on Navigator is Kevin Nitesh Dursany.

Maybe with Alan as Suite Concierge the NV will get their loyalty program fixed. He was swamped in Dec trying to make up fro all the incompetence in CL and at the loyalty desk. He worked like a mad man in the D lounge. He definitely needs to be in the CL. Glad he will be leaving NV. He needs a rest.
Saw Alan on Rhapsody last week. There have been some MAJOR shakeups on Navigator since we were on last Oct/Nov. New captain, hotel director, loyalty ambassador, etc. All for the better... we are onboard right now and enjoying it!

Make sure your C&A number is correct. We have a friend that was staying in our suite one time and when I went to print out all the docs, it stated he was a gold member. In reality he was Emerald at that time. I had him call RC and sure enough there was another C&A member with the same name. They had accidentally put down the wrong C&A Number!

A long time ago I got a separate ID card to take with me when going ashore. They are much easier to replace if lost. That way your driver's license and passport are kept safe. The ID card is just as good at the ports that require a photo ID.
Hope that gives you another option!

My suggestion is to board the ship and go see where your dining room table is located. If you don't like the location simply ask to change. We have done this for years and have never had a problem changing if necessary.

This is directed to the OP...
If I read every negative review on here (and believed them all) I would probably not cruise! So let me just say this, we spent 26 days on Navigator in Oct./Nov. and LOVED it! We are going back to the ship this month for another 19 days. So I guess it's not quite as bad as some make her out to be.
Enjoy yourselves and take the reviews (both good and bad) with a grain of salt...
