  1. Hello, We will be in Alesund on Oct 2nd on.the MSC Euribia. We wanted to do the Trollstigen Tour for 3 to 4 hours. We are possibly looking for a driver and/or guide. If you have done this tour before, could you please recommend a driver/guide to us? A group tour is fine too, but we are not sure if we would have enough time. We have looked at Viator and see there tour to be 6 our long. Thank you, Danny
  2. Hello, Our ship docks in Hellesylt and we are taking the Geirangerfjord to Geiranger. Does anyone know how far from where the ferry dock to the village/town? Appreciate your help
  3. Thank you so much. I will definitely check it out.
  4. We tried to post this in the port of call section, but didn't get any responses so we thought we post it here. For those who have been to Norway especially Geiranger., our cruise ship will be in Hellesylt and we plan to take the Geirangerfjord cruise. We depart Hellesylt at 11:00 AM, but we have 2 return time slots; 1:00 or 4:00 PM that we can choose. We wanted to take the 4:00 PM time slot. Our ship doesn't leave until 8:00 PM. Could someone please let me know what is there to do for 3 to 4 hours in Geiranger where the fjord cruise ends? Is there much to see in that area? Greatly appreciate your help
  5. That's great to know. They seems to be very responsive when I emailed them. All my questions are answer in a timely manner. MSC charges so much for the railway tour. It's like me buying 2 tickets from Nrways's Best = 1 MSC tour. It's just ridiculous.
  6. I am sorry to say but I think this concept is stupid. I cruise with Royal Caribbean and MSC quite a bit more than Princess and never had this type of stupid concept.
  7. That's good to know. When we look at Norway's Best, it shows that you can book it. We will be seeing Geirangerfjord in Hellesylt even though we won't be seeing Naerofjord. We can't see it all.
  8. Ah OK. Our tour is not specific and I am sure it's very popular. It's the Flam Railway. That tends to get sold out so easily. The other tour we are thinking of doing is the Naeroyfjord Cruise, but I don't think we have enough time to do both since each requires 3 our or so and with their schedule, we really don't have enough time while we are in port. We don't want to miss our ship. We are also consider the Stegastien Viewpoint in Flam since it's only 30 minutes.
  9. Hello, If you have been on the MSC Euribia or any other MSC that does the Norwegian Fjords, please help us out. This is our first time to Norway and we are booked on the MSC Euribia. It will visits 3 ports in Norway (Hellesylt, Alesund, and Flam). While we are in Flam, we are torn between these 3 excursions. Of course, we don't have the time to do them all. We can do 2 out of the 3. They are: -Flam Railway -Naeroyfjord Cruise -Stegastein Viewpoint Which of these 2 would you highly recommended? Thank you, Danny
  10. Hello, We have booked a cruise on the MSC Euribia for the Norwegian Fjords. Our ship will visit Hellesylt, Alesund, Flam, and Kiel, Germany. We see that Norway Best have a good number of excursions from Flam. Have anyone use this company before? Is it a reliable and reputable compnay? If there are other companies that you have used for excursions and would recommend them, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Danny
  11. Thank you. That's good to know.
  12. Thank you. I asked because we have been to Oahu so many times that once the ship gets into port, we just wanted to take an Uber/Lyft to the Waikiki area and walk arund to shop and eat.
