I buy mine at kroger-during the summer and fall they run specials to earn 4X the fuel points. I buy off and on till my cruise and usually have enough to take care of my SS card plus save a ton on gas!!

I had a Segway tour booked for my February cruise in St. Maartan-got an email from carnival saying it is no lorger available and will be refunded in 5-7 days. Since we purchased with Carnival gift card they told us that's how it would be refunded and we should receive a card in the mail in a couple weeks. That was August 5-still waiting☹

Money spent doesn't mean you are more loyal. I have 12 cruises, all with Carnival, but I can only afford one a year. I believe that makes me a "loyal Carnival cruiser " no difference what I spend.

Are we back in elementary school? For all that say yes are you going to police the serenity area, the chair hogs and the dress code in the dining room? I just believe either all rules are enforced or none. You simply cannot pick and choose.

I agree completely - bigger is not always better. Personally, I prefer the Spirit class but, sad to say, most of those are going outside of the US. I have sailed on Dream and Breeze and will sail Magic in 2018. I have also sailed Conquest class and I am ok with them also. Next Feb. we were able to book the Pride for its Repo cruise from Tampa to Baltimore. I am very excited to be back on a Spirit ship.

I would really like to get some feedback on these balconies. Does anyone know which is better between the upper and empress deck or just opinions. I find it hard to find good pics of these rooms.

Looking to book L shaped cabins on Magic next year and would appreciate thoughts on the 6th or 7th floor. I've tried looking at pictures but still can't tell. Do all L shaped have two windows. I want the 2 windows and would really love the ones nearest the aft wraps.

Just off the Dream. I have to say this is the first time in 10 cruises I have been very disappointed in the MDR food. It seemed there were less choices and most of the beef was very fatty. I do hope this was isolated as I only cruise carnival and have the Pride booked in February next year.

Just got off Dream in a cove. I have done several other balconies and I was a bit disappointed in the cove. I do agree it is private and very nice close to the water but it just seemed small. But we have been getting aft facing balconies which are larger. Just a matter of preferences. It's certainly worth trying so you know.

Not impressed. This only works for both buying in room. would be nice to offer a tiered program that would have different max drinks - sold individually no matter how many in room.

9 Days to San Juan for a 10 day Journey cruise on the Dream!!!! First time on this ship. I am so excited. Love trying new ships.

We used our last year - simply waited a day - then went to Guest Services - they applied them for us - do keep the card and I believe they hand you a receipt - just keep an eye on your account for them to post. I'm old school so I don't trust the KIOSK for these.

I posted this on the Grand Turk boards - nothing. Just wondered if anyone has done this excursion. We just booked it and hoping it is all it says it is. I don't know if this is just a carnival excursion or is offered by other cruise lines.

I saw this particular review - didn't put much faith into it as the spelling and english were terrible. Half of it does not make any sense. I am hoping to see some reviews on a site other than Carnivals. But thank you for the link.

We just booked this a couple weeks ago. Haven't read much about it. Has anyone done this excursion. It sounded almost too good to be true!

We had a B2B booked in Feb. 2017 on the Breeze-then I saw the Pride repo and immediately switched. I like the itinerary and it was about the same price. My first cruise 10 years ago was on the Miracle so I am thrilled to be going back on the Spirit class. I have sailed the conquest and dream class, and, although they are very nice, I love the spirit best of all. Can't wait.:o

Thanks! For some reason I never think of YouTube till someone mentions it.

OK - I tried to find something on the guy that will be in the piano bar on the Dream in January. I simply could not find it. So - anyone know anything about Matias Sanchez? I think he is on the Ecstasy right now.

I have had an aft-wrap and, although the balcony is great, I found the room a tad smaller and an odd layout. Was not easy to move around. And I agree with other posters they get very hot. We prefer the cabins right next to the wrap. Better room layout and it's a significantly larger and deeper balcony. Still gets very hot. We are trying a Cove for the first time in January. Hope we love it.

Thank you for an outstanding review. You covered just about everything anyone would want to know. I appreciate your "open minded" review as clearly everyone has different likes and dislikes. We are sailing on Dream in January on a Journey cruise out of San Juan and also have a cove Balcony. Ours is 2344 so I am hoping it will be a bit more quite. I am now even more excited as you have painted a great picture. As for it seeming to be an "older" crowd - works for me - as I have entered that age bracket. Again, thank you for the review.

I know when John Heald does his "quickfire questions" on facebook every sunday - there is a person, with John's approval, that does a survey with all the questions. It would be great if the cheers question was asked and also another one asking "how many would purchase cheers if there was a "shared" or "light" option available. Personally, I believe there are many, many people who do not buy cheers because of the "everyone" in the room has to buy policy. But if you could offer a smaller package - I believe the bottom line would definitely go up.

We are booked on the Dream Journey cruise out of San Juan on January 14, 2016. Got a cove balcony which has dropped $200 per person since we booked. We have also booked the Feb. 2017 Pride Journey cruise out of Tampa, ending in Baltimore. Got a great price $1200 for a "bowling alley" balcony. I hate that I have to wait a year between cruises but it is the only way I can afford it. :)

We booked the Jan. 14 Dream Journey cruise quite a few months ago - a cove balcony - and the price has dropped by $200. A balcony for $699 on a 10 day cruise is fabulous plus we have a $100 on board credit. We always fly in a day early since the mid-west weather is so unpredictable:).

I can't wait for reviews for the Dream journey cruises. We are doing the Jan 14 out of San Juan and ending in New Orleans. Never been on Dream and first time for cove balcony. :)

We have a couple B2B planned. I was so excited when I saw Miracle was going back to Tampa. I wanted to do a B2B on her but was so disappointed to see she does an identical itinerary every week. It's a shame. Would be easy to do a 6 day western and an 8 day southern or at least mix up western ports.
