There will be several thousand pax and a couple of taxis.

It took us almost 3 hrs to get a cab, shared, into town.

Book a cab in advance.

Book your taxi in advance of your trip.

Cabs do not cruise the port.

I was told that, drivers who do pick up pax are not permitted to call in the need for more cabs.

Ships crew and dock workers do not get priority service.

My wife and I have travelled on The Oosterdam, The Rotterdam and The Westerdam.

We shall be on The Noordam in April.

We were recently on The Aurora.

The food is better on HAL.

The drinks are better on P&O.

Everything else is a tie.

You should decide if you wish to go on a cruise or wish to visit Europe.

They are not the same thing.

If you have only 7 days, I suggest that you choose one country (or even one city) and spend your time there, with 1 or 2 day trips to other places.

05-December 2018, 20:00 – 00:00 AI130 Sleigh Ride Under the Northern Lights

through "North Adventure"  in Alta.

In Andalsnes we took the ship's "Scenic Rauma Railway".  You can book the train on your own, if you wish.  It is cheaper, but it leaves at 09:30.

We booked Leisurely Tromsø and Leisurely Stavanger from the ship.

The coffee was Dewey Eggbert when we were on The Aurora last November.

Not good.

Next time we will bring single serving sachets of our own.

The tea, btw, is P&G tips, which my wife says is very good.

You will be given a buzzer thingee to take back to the lounge.
