  1. We just booked a cruise leaving from Brooklyn and have started the hotel hunt.  I'm wondering if it might be less expensive to stay in New Jersey and if we did so, best way to get to the cruise port in Brooklyn?  Ideas for hotels, routes etc. are welcomed.  Ideas about staying in Brooklyn area would be great as well.  Thanks in advance.

  2. Wondering if anyone has the contact email for the Voyageurs Club?   Our last cruise is still not showing after more than 3 months.  I've emailed the general email a number of times but have never received a reply. A phone number would be helpful as well.  Thanks in advance.

  3. Wondering if someone can explain the Orange Club details?  We are going on our first Holland cruise next week and recently read something about the Orange Club.  We like the idea of the "better" dining experience.  Is Orange something that we can pay to get at this point?  If so, what's the typical cost? We've read that it includes stateroom upgrade or something else if not available.  Our ship is sold out at this point.  Thanks in advance for your help.

There isn't a permanent bar, it's a pop up bar. All of the Divina class and below ships have the same set up. The drink selection is limited, it's obviously not a full bar but more extensive than just serving bottled drinks. And it's never been my experience that the hours are limited, it's always been open all day when we've used the Aurea sun deck, we'd usually be there 10am - 6pm on sea days.

Are there servers who regularly take drink orders for drinks not available from the pop up bar, ie pina coladas etc.?  Really don't want to go on a road trip to get a frosty drink.

You can (and should) do all your online check tasks as soon as you book. You can add flight details (or any other incomplete tasks) later as it doesn't have to be completed in one sitting.

You don't select arrival times, they're assigned to you.

Thank you. Just finished our check in but our boarding pass says "to be assigned" as our boarding time.  Guess we can go when we want?

I've always completed the special needs form, and included a request for distilled water. They have sometimes responded that they cannot guarantee it, but I always have had it delivered nightly to my room.  If you aren't confident, I would fill out the needs form, print a copy, and have it with me and a sealed bottle of distilled water.  If they question you, show them the copy of the form you had.  You do know, of course, that CPAPs can use regular water for short periods of time, like a week.

Thank you for your reply.  Where did you send the form?  I found it online, but there is no send button.

  7. We need to have distilled water for a cpap on a Caribbean cruise.  I assume that it would be confiscated at boarding.  Can we get a letter from special needs dept. saying it's ok to bring? Who can we contact to make sure we have some onboard. I've read posts that have said they have received some in cups onboard, but really don't trust that.
