Jolly Beach is often crowded. Try Beach Limerz...Tell Gail( the owner) the Conch Fritters Guy recommended you go there. Check out my post:https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2619667-beach-limerz/
How far is Beach Limerz from port? What is cost of taxi?

@MaShesLookinOutMyWindow I just booked this through the Dolphin Discovery website. Our reservation is for noon - what time should we have the taxi come back and get us? 2:00? Is there anything to do there?

This tour looks amazing - but I am concerned with motion sickness. I have read that there are a lot of windy roads and it is easy to get motion sick. Did you experience this? Is the van cool - if it's warm, that will make my son's motion sickness worse. I am thinking if we just take some motion sickness medicine we may be ok.

We will be going on the Harmony for spring break. I have already booked 3 specialty restaurants (Wonderland and 2 al a carte restaurants). When I get on the ship, would it be possible to buy a package, keep my current reservations and get reimbursed for the money I already paid for Wonderland? I have all of my shows and meals booked - I don't have faith that there will be open reservations for the restaurants I want when I want them if I just book the dining package pre-cruise and then wait until I get onboard to book the restaurants.

Definitely the 7 day allure .. We have been taking our kids on cruises since my youngest was 2 and have always done 7 days and they have loved it. The allure has so many fun things and RC's adventure ocean is top notch. We would go and pick them up and they would beg to stay.

Thanks for the input. We gave them the option to stay at their grandparent's house and told them that we will probably hit a beach or 2 but there will be lots of touring cities we have never seen. They say they want to go so I want to give them the opportunity.

Probably 40% of the cruises last year dropped it from their itinerary, many times at the last minute. It all depends on the government issued terrorist alert levels and it affects all of Turkey. If the alert levels are high the ships will go to another port or just make it a sea day.
Do you know what port that go to if they skip Turkey? I am guessing it varies..just curious - we are scheduled for the 9 day Greek Isle cruise next June and Turkey is one of our stops. I like to research the stops and if they substitute another one at the last minute I would like to be prepared.

We are going on the Jewel next June to Greek Isles. Interested in your experience as this will be our first time overseas and we are planning on bringing our boys who will be 12 and 14 by then. Curious how old your teenagers are, if they are enjoying the ports, and if there are teen only places on the ship for them.

We booked a 9 day Greek Isle cruise and our kids will 14 and 12 by then, will they be totally bored? They have been on 6 cruises and love them but they have all been in the Caribbean where we have done fun things that they enjoyed liked ziplining, tubing and going to beach. I fear that they are going to be bored because we will be doing less beaches and more touring cities. Anyone taken 12 and 14 year old boys on a Eurpoean cruise? What was your experience?
Thanks in advance!

Dumb question - Is Cabana Beach the same as Seaquarium beach?
We want to do a beach and then maybe dinner/drinks watching the sunset. Would be great if the beach had activites such as jetskis, kayaks, etc. Trying to decide between Blue Bay beach and cabana beach.

I have booked the Natural Pool Jeep tour for our stop in Aruba. One of the reviews I read was that bathrooms are not readily available. My 70 year old parents really want to go but the lack of bathrooms is concerning for them. Can anyone give me more information on the bathroom situation? Also, if anyone has any feedback on the tour would love to hear it.

I prefer Royal Caribbean to carnival but I have been on the nicest RCI ships and older carnival ships so that could be the difference. That said, my next 2 cruises I have booked are on Carnival because they offer a wider variety of ports where they sail. I am looking forward to my 2014 cruise on the carnival dream to see how sailing on one of the best carnival ships compares to sailing on the best RCI ship.

I have 2 very active boys and we were able to do everything we wanted but I spent a significant time planning it out. I had a binder and day by day agenda. We had an absolute blast...the ship was phenomenal. That said, I probably wouldn't sail on it again unless they changed the ports. While I love sailing on the nicest ship, I like to go to different islands.

Anyone know of a post cruise excursion in San Juan that will drop off at a hotel? We aren’t flying out until Monday so would love to do an excursion on Sunday.
