Thanks for the update.
We have done it twice and not sure we want to pay $298 for it unless they have changed the regions they go to.

Is 360 still complementary for suite passengers on Discovery?
We were on it last October and it was.
Thanks!

We did the Octoberfest cruise on the Island. The engineers struggled most of the cruise to get the air to work, it never did work. If we opened the balcony slider to let air in the wind whistle under the door and since we were on deck 12 the air that was coming in under the door was hot as all the warm air from lower decks rose up to our deck.
They did give us $250 shipboard credit for the inconvenience

Still can't make a reservation but I found this on Princess that you must fully pay your cruise fare before you can book a restaurant:
"Make dining reservations via the Princess App®
When you reserve ahead via app, you can:Customize your dining time for each day, once you've made the final payment for your booking.
Select from the main dining room, specialty dining venues or both.
Manage all your dining reservations in one easy place" -
On the Emerald last month, it was deck 6 Di Vinci.
They also had lunch opened for reserve only no one else.

My SIL did that and they didn't catch a thing! He has another cruise booked this summer and he says he's going to try again. (He's a pretty experienced fisherman, too.)
We did the ship salmon fishing in Juneau and brought the Coho back to the ship and they cooked it for us. We donated the rest to the crew.

I believe that while they are reworking their reservation system to account for traditional dining that many portions of the systems may be down
Ok thanks

Is anyone having problems booking specialty restaurants?
I have 3 cruises 2 in October and February, I book the date and time use credit card to reserve than get an error message. I changed the credit card also no luck.

She always had a fitness center, but it was relocated when she was mangled, er, I mean extensively renovated several years ago. It was aft on Lido, with windows, where now there are cabins.
Did Octoberfest cruise on her last year. Mini suite was tired and the air never worked though they tried for days to fix it. The fitness center is like doing time in jail. We vowed never to go on the Island again

Just off Emerald Princess. Lots of people with Hawaiian shirts and shorts for dinner even in Reserve seating on formal night.
Didn’t bother me a bit.

Just off a 15 night cruise on Emerald for the solar eclipse and Panama Canal. Great ship, no complaints at all. Just not as glitzy/new as any Royal Class ship. Would go again any time.
We also just got off. The ship and crew are great. Wished they had an Alfredo's like Sapphire.
Has IC very good sandwiches but no salads. Good Sprits bar is small but lots of fun. Had an Aft Suite was awesome!
I would sail her anytime.

We had R402, midship penthouse both on Ruby and Emerald.
This cabin is directly under Lido deck and both times we experienced "rolling Thunder" approx, 6:30am each morning. My guess they are moving carts of towels or food products just above our heads.
A question for Aft fans... did you find soot on your balcony while underway from the stacks?
Thanks
Bob
No soot and yes the those suiotes on the side are horrible. Friends on this cruise had one and hated the noise.
