How was the rest of the cruise on the Luna?  We are booked for September.  It is hard to find any information about our cruise, the ship, or our booking.

I read it is about 30 euros to the hotel from the airport.  Someone on Trip advisor said you could almost walk to the port but I think we'll check out a taxi there too.  We don't go until November.

I’m wondering how easy it would be to take the metro from the airport to the hotel considering how close to Parralel metro stop it is.

Have you taken your trip yet?  We are also booked here. We stayed a here a couple years ago and liked the location.  This time we are staying pre-cruise.  

Interested in transportation from the airport and to the cruise port.  

We booked an Emerald River cruise for September.  How do you find information about your cruise on the Emerald website?   

We used GTI in November 2022 and have nothing but good things to report - 2 long full days and we saw a lot!

Please keep posting about the visa situation - we go in March on Emerald from Siem Reap to Ho Chi Ming City.  We haven't checked into visas yet.  I appreciate the information posted here!

Any one have any reports on Emerald Waterways Mekong cruising?

I am hoping after people go on this cruise they will come back here and report about it, please.   There is so little known about yet.

Our rescheduled date is March 1.

Thanks for replying.  We just booked our transfers with Welcome Pickups.  Easy to do and a great price so we hope they work out!
 

Are there taxis in Athens that can handle 4 passengers and our luggage from the airport?

I was told 40 euro for a taxi for 2 to our hotel but we'd all like to share a ride.  

We are boarding the Jade in Athens in a couple of weeks and need a negative test.  Does anyone know if they do the tests in the airport and the cost?

Is there a place in the Athens airport to test when we get off the plane?   Cost in the airport or a Farmacia?

How are you getting to Baltra from Quito?  We are not doing the Quito part of the trip since we have been there before so just plan to arrive in Quito the day before the cruise but we still need to get to Baltra then.

Thanks for the reassurance!  The cruise looks amazing so we are anxious to go.
Low priced air fare was part of our booking offer so we are locked in with Emerald now.

I haven't heard anything from Emerald either!   Makes me nervous to send them final payment until I get more information on this cruise.

Thanks for the update.  We aren't scheduled to cruise until March 1, 2023.  I haven't heard anything for so long about this cruise (already rescheduled more than once) I was wondering if Asia was open for cruising yet.  Please keep in touch!  I need to look up the E-visa information yet too.

Has Emerald Waterways resumed their Mekong cruises yet?  Anyone have any reports on this cruise?  The ship looks amazing.  We have rescheduled it several times already.

Has anyone done the Portugal passenger locator card?  We are actually flying to Lisbon.  I have submitted it 2 times but it hasn't officially been accepted so United won't allow us to get our boarding pass for tomorrow.  Ugh - paperwork!

That didn't work for us - it let's us pick the Lufthansa seats on the United website but when we 'Confirm Seats' it says not able to do it.

Having the same problem but glad (not really) to hear it's not just me.   It won't be easy to sign in 24 hours before our flight home because we will be traveling.   I appreciate the information you are sharing though.

Thanks for the information - I did look at those posts quite a bit before our Galapagos cruise was canceled in May 2020.  Now we aren't booked until later in 2022 and we are on the Northern loop now because that date worked the best for the couple we are traveling with.  I'm sure we would enjoy either one!

Reading this post makes me even more anxious for our cruise!

Apparently, Israel is now closed to outsiders, but I am sure within 8 months, it should be open again. Hopefully by November as well.

 

 We continue to hope that travel will resume again soon - so tired of trips not being able to go!  With you not going to Israel until March you have a lot better chance of going than we do.  We may have to move our Gate 1 trip to then too!  We really love Gate1.

We booked a Gate 1 land tour (two weeks) of Israel and Jordan for next March.  We are excited about that trip.

We were on the same canceled cruise so booked that Gate 1 trip for November 2021 - let's hope it goes!  🤞
