  1. We will arrive in Warnemunde on Whit Monday, June 5th. Per travel info , Schwerin Castle Will be open that day from 10 till 6, but shops and shopping center closed.cafe and restaurants are open. We have to decide what to do...

Are you about Schwerin Castle open on June 5 ? From Schwerin castle site, they close on all Mondays. Look up the calendar, all Mondays are greyed out.

  2. I've tried digging through all the Oceankaj threads, but there's so much there and most of it is about getting to and from the airport. We are going to be in Coppenhagen for just 1 day on a Princess Cruise in June. Princess says we'll be docking at the Oceankaj port. I'm trying to figure out how to get to the center of town...near the Kings Square. It's just a port of call, so no luggage. There are 5 of us...public transportation is fine, so is a taxi. We're also not opposed to walking, depending on how far it is...we'll be walking much for the rest of the day anyway. Thanks for nay advice you can offer.

  3. I've looked at the taxi fares map, but I'm not sure where Royal Caribbean cruise ships come in on the map. I know it's not Old SJ. About how much would a taxi cost from where RCI dock to Old SJ? Thanks

RCCL ship docks at Pan American Pier.

We stayed at a hotel near Pan American Pier in Jan 2016. Taxi costed $14 to Old SJ.

  4. There is a Super Max supermarket in Old San Juan. Ask locals for direction. Coffee is locked in glass case, you have to ask staff to get it for you. Walgreen also carry coffee bean but price is higher.

  5. You seem to be trying to use scare tactics on this board. Did you not have a good experience or something? My comments come directly from a GREAT experience with a taxi driver, who absolutely came back to get us and he was even early - waiting for us. Please do not try to scare people who want to use cabs in Antigua. It's not cool.

    .

God bless you if you only have good experience with taxi drivers. For me I had taxi rides in Europe, Asia, N. America, I would say 50% of the time taxi drivers try to cheat me either to setting a higher tariff rate, or meter does not work, make a detour ( this is a common trick), cheat at toll booth, drop me at a wrong location.

BTW, are you related to taxi industry ? Seems you are try to protect taxi drivers when we all know there are many bad ones out there.

  6. That's one of the many reasons we have a Travel Agent who deals with this sort of thing for us. :)

That's exactly I try to avoid travel agent unless I can get a better from travel agent. There is no excuse that customers cannot update their booking, update profile thru Celebrity web site.

    Their OSS/BSS is so outdated.

  7. Called Celebrity 800 6472251 help line on Jan 6 and Jan 4. Wait time is over 36 minutes to get to a live person. What happen to their customer service ?

Celebrity site would not allow me to change my email address. Help line told me to open another account with new email address.

Celebrity: you need a new CEO.

  8. Yes. We did a taxi tour in Antigua. You will be bombarded when you get off the ship. $25 per person, hit all the highlights, brought you to Valley Church Beach which was wonderful, waited for you, and returned you to the pier when you were ready. We had Joseph, he was awesome!

For $25/person, how many hours is the hour ?

  9. Which compact camera do you all believe gives the most DSLR-like images?

We have a Canon 40D with a bunch of lenses etc. The bag weighs 15 pounds!!! I am getting tired of hauling it so I leave it home a lot. So then I use our Canon D10 which doesn't give the best image quality. (Good but not great.)

I've been looking at reviews and things for something in between. I want a larger sensor but I'm not sure I want to go all the way to a the Micro 4/3rds system. What do you know about the Sony Cybershot RX 100 II? I'd like some opinions from people I know aren't getting paid for their opinions! The cost is $$$ for a compact, I think.

    All input welcome!

EOS M is your best bet. It takes all your existing Canon lens with an adapter. M mount kit lens is light and small compare to EF-S lens. EOS M has the same sensor as T4i. Price of EOS M is cheaper than any of the Sony, Fuji cameras mentioned above. With new firmware, AF speed is decent. For $350 with kit lens, flash, body with APS-C size sensor, can't beat that.
