  1. Okay now we are totally confused - could it be under the Happenings on Board section on our phone apps when it says at 3:30pm Oosterdam Departs Sitka sea view pool, 9 - could that mean sail away party begins before actual sail away at 4:00pm? The shore excursions page on our Apps for Sitka is showing all aboard time of 3:30pm - which page do we trust our scheduled tour drops us off at the ship at 3:00pm.

Quick question - we are sailing next week to Alaska on the Oosterdam and have booked a private excursion in Sitka expecting sail time to be 4:00pm but we just downloaded HAL's App on our phones and it is showing that set sail time is now 3:30pm so we need to know how far in advance do you need to be on the ship before it is scheduled to sail? Thanks
  3. I have Celiac Disease and need to eat only Gluten Free food and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for restaurants within walking distance to the Seattle Marriott Waterfront hotel that have a Gluten Free Menu? Thanks in advance for your help - happy cruising.
  4. When I eat dinner in a Specialty Restaurant how do I let the main dining room know my next night dinner choices without having to go to the main dining room after my Specialty dining meal? Last time we sailed HAL I had to go to the dining room after my Specialty meal, stand in line and wait for my turn just to ask for the next night's menu so I can choose my gluten free meal. Once completed I had to stand back in line just to turn it in and then low and behold the next night my meal would be either WRONG or they LOST my pre-order completely. Is there any way around this problem? We are in a Neptune Suite do you think the Neptune Lounge Staff could take care of things for me so I don't have to stand in line at the dining room?
