We always book Anytime Dining. Since DH and I are fine with sharing a table, we rarely need to wait. The only time that we made reservations was last Christmas when we were traveling with a group of 10.

We'll be on a 12 day cruise. Does anyone know if they just repeat the menus described or do they have some additional menus (that have not been posted)? Also, does it make any difference if it is an European cruise (RT London)?

Our family is taking the Veendam to Bermuda on the 26 of August, and really appreciates all of the advise on this board. Can anyone answer these questions?

 

Has anyone used the $49 laundry service per cabin? Was it satisfactory?

We were on the 8 July cruise and used the laundry service. I felt it was well worth the $49 fee. We sent off a bag daily and it usually came back the next day. We'll be cruising again over Christmas and definately will use the laundry service again.

I've been emailing with HAL about the package, and, for what it's worth, here is the response I got to that question: "In general, we recommend to purchase the package prior to sailing."

Thanks for the response. I guess "recommends" doesn't mean "not possible". Guess I will take my chance and see if I can do it. The worse that could happen would be a friendly "not possibile!"

Does anyone know if you can purchase the suite package after you board ship? We have a very large OBC and would love to use it for this.
