  1. So last night I purchased a cruise on seashore, since this add below was on the front msc which it still is.

We purchased the "best" not the best value.  So I get told today that its not included, is that correct?  I

don't see any details on this ad.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. So I made the switch over to MSC since they match my other cruiseline to gold status.

We know very little about MSC but watching videos online I seem to be happy with the reviews I see.

I trying to understand the booking process with the different upgrades, such as "best value".  Which includes the

includes wifi and drink package.  Is this wifi / drink for both PAX ?

Any help MSC on these details will be very helpful.

  3. We always try to get the spa rooms.  Our reason is location and fewer folks on the area of the rooms, pending on which ship, thus don't get the runners issues in the halls.  We enjoy the much more quite

    rooms, etc.

  4. We get a spa room when ever we can.  We were on the spa balcony on deck 12.  We like it as the floor

doesn't seem to have the extra noise in the halls etc.  Plus the location helps to be closer to the areas

    which are important to us.

If you have a chance for a spa room, any of them, go for it.

  5. We were on the vista, sister ship in Oct, we headed on horizon in a few weeks.  There several area

    we discovered.

As you Enter the Havana area (public area) before the bar there lots of private 4 chairs and tables.

We also found chairs in the shade and umbrellas outside of the pig and anchor when it was not open was a nice area.  Then the library is always a nice indoor spot.

  6. Some interesting points I look at on a "starter cruise".  I don't look at the cruise condition

for starter cruise as a price consideration.  Other conditions can be but not limited to the

length of the cruise, ports of call.  Port which you leave from, for example leaving from the UK

if you based in the US is not what a new cruise may do. Also the type of room you have, which can

be price driven, but not always.

There too many other variables other than price to make a cruise a starter cruise.  I personally think

a short cruise is a high consideration for a starter condition.  I personally don't care for the short cruises anything less than 7 days.  But everyone has different ideas and conditions.  Everyone has there

conditions or priorities which is good for them,  that's right for their family.

  7. When were on the Vista class ships the doors, walls and ceilings all were magnetic.  Not sure

about the other newer ships.  The some nice 100# magnetic hooks on amazon which worked very

nice from doors to hanging items in your room.

  9.

We were on the Vista in Late Oct 2022.  Yes it is 9am to 4am all the pizza you can eat.  One of the adult

kids was getting their share of pizza and the hours worked out great.

The softserve is still 24 hours, but some of the stations close late and you have limited spots, but there still ice cream 7 x 24.

  10. We did many with our kids with 4 in a cabin.  It is not that bad.  We had the net laundry baskets that fold up to make sure clothes were keep tightly.  Also bring the strong magnet hooks to hang towels, room keys, etc.  Also bring shoe door hanger to put misc supplies.

If you near the spa deck you can use the showers up there as well.

We also packed on small plastic trays which you can store items in the closet or

    table top.

Limit suitcases with too much extra stuff.

If they are like our kids when they were teens we saw them just a few times a day..

It very manageable. But you need to keep on the organization skills.

    good luck

There is the red italic message below the cart, AND when I click CheckOut I get a popup that says:

    "Checkout is currently unavailable

"Checkout is currently in maintenance and is unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience" and only a button that says OKAY. No way to go ahead and make purchase.

I just logged in again,  I get that same pop up.  I must have slipped in between there testing of the

programmers testing.  I glad I received mine and they been applied to my cruise before this next weekend.
