We have booked our first P and O cruise on Adonia in December round the caribbean as we prefer the smaller ships she sounds perfect I am keen to try the Glass house and I had read they have some sort of cinema but that may be on deck. Hope you enjoy your cruise please post something about her on your return as there is no up to date information on her.

I would suggest Morrocan oil just lightly put on after drying seems to do the trick with mine.

Thank you for your replies I do like a bot of privacy especially in the morning when having my early morning cuppa.Think we'll wait and see if a balcony comes up.

I wonder if anyone can help me, we are looking at a canary Island cruise in April. We have been offered a terrace balcony but are not sure how this works does this mean that your balcony is actually the deck or is there a little space railing or something between the balcony and the deck? Any help appreciated.:confused:

We cruised the Greek Islands this summer although sadly not with Seabourn all the islands we visited were easy to do independently the only excursion we did was Santorini and I really wish we had done that one on our own as it is so easy to go up in the cable car and we could have missed out the dreadful winery visit our cruise line arranged. Hope this is helpful

Last month on the Dream we had UK type sockets with 2 USB ports we were in cabin 8000. Hope this helps as I not sure regarding voltage.

I believe they were allowed in the casino only on the Dream last month but not anywhere else.

Hi we got back yesterday and I don't have any complaints regarding the service, bar staff and restaurant staff were very efficient and pleasant.
On the pool decks they came around often taking orders and offering water or sky juice as they affectionately named it.
We only had a couple of moans and they were not staff related, one was the coffee was terrible and the other was they seemed to be constantly trying to sell things such as speciality restaurants or premium all inclusive. Saying this we had a really enjoyable cruise and the show team were fab.

They only recently stopped accepting pounds, shillings and pence.
Euros probably best/most universal, but they take pretty much owt
Thanks for posting this we were going to get some TL tomorrow but will just stick with Euros it will be easier if we manage to bring any home with us.

Thanks for the info maybe we'll leave it for 2 1/2 hours for check in etc hope there will be something open in Bristol airport to get coffee and a bit of breakfast. Coming around fast now this time next week we'll be on board relaxing with maybe a pre dinner cocktail :):)

We are on Iconic Island cruise 17.06. our flight is 05.30 from UK can anyone tell me if we will be able to board when we arrive in Corfu?
I appreciate our cabin won't be ready but will we be allowed in a lounge or deck areas etc. I'm not sure what happens with cases etc from Corfu airport as we have previously only done caribbean with Thomsons and never arrived so early it's going to be a bit of a long day especially as we have be be at airport 3 hours before departure.
Thanks in advance for any information.

For Dartmoordan
If you email me at
Patti dot Fitton at tiscali dot co dot uk replacing dots and ats with appropriate email punctuation I can send you a photo of the voucher. It does need personal information and some people are wary about sharing so name, address, email and booking reference you can then decide if you are happy to do this.
Hi Techno123 just to thank you and let you know I have sent you the info

Hi Dartmoordan and welcome to Seabourn. First thing to do is go to the referral thread at the top of the Seabourn threads. If an existing customer refers you, you each get $400 to spend onboard. My offer of a voucher is of course there too 😉
Thanks Techno123 in order to gain your voucher what do I have to do? I don't want to put my address on here for all other posters to wade though. is there a private messaging system?
Many thanks for your help

Well we have just booked our first Seabourn cruise Yachtmans harbours in Caribbean next March. Any tips on this ship will be greatly appreciated. We are not new to cruising and definitely prefer the smaller ship. So excited.:D:D

Our first cruise was on OV 1 loved it so much really not what I expected we were on A Deck huge cabin looking forward to trying her again.:):)
-
We were in 7032 and it was great very quiet and nice and spacious definately recomend deck 7:):)

Princess have 24 hr room service and movies under the stars, coffees not great though.

We returned from our first Princess cruise recently and really enjoyed the experience. The cabin was good with a decent sized balcony, food was good and the staff were courteous efficient and friendly. The only slight niggle for us was the coffee, it was for me awful, we bought a coffee card which was well worth it. Hope you enjoy your cruise.

I would definitely do a ships tour in Jamaica it's can be a bit daunting if your not used to it. In Playa Del Carmen you can go across to Cozumel or just enjoy the tourist area shopping and a few bars and restaurants, we did it on our own quite easily. We've not been to Grand Caymen so can't help with that one but there will be plenty of help on here. We did the Dream 2 years ago and have booked for next year I'm sure you will have a great time.
