Our group was schedule to go May 23rd.  Decided to cancel due to increasing travel restrictions and underlying health issues.  We're all really bummed.😢

What type of daytime interactive activities will be found on board?  On other lines there have been trivia, discussions, etc (not like the art auctions - yuck).  Just looking for ways to have fun with fellow passengers on our Alaska trip.

My sister and I will be in a Neptune Suite and my daughter and her SO will be in a balcony.  What will we get in the suite (besides more room) that my daughter won't?  I was on Royal Caribbean and they had special fruit plates, nice little dessert plates, etc. they would surprise us with.   Does HAL do things like this?

A group of us will be cruising round trip to Alaska from Vancouver for 7 days, leaving May 23rd.  Not sure what to pack.  I am assuming relatively warm clothes while on deck or excursions - but how warm?  Winter coat or light jacket?  Thanks

Does Holland America have the wrist bands instead of carrying around the room key?  We had it on Royal Caribbean and they worked wonderfully.  We'll be on the Konigsdam in May to Alaska.

Thank you all for your replies. I'm feeling more comfortable about getting on-board. Just over three weeks and I'll be leaving the cold north.

Every cruise I been on involved walking up a very steep ramp when first boarding the ship. I am handicapped, but can walk. I just can't do many stairs anymore and am concerned I won't be able to navigate a long, steep ramp. I'm sailing on RCL's Anthem at the end of the month and would appreciate feedback. Thanks.

Instead of taking extra prescription glasses, we get reading glasses and sun glasses from the dollar store. They're good enough to use and cheap enough to lose :D.
