I'm needing guidance on which company to go with for trip insurance. We have 2 elderly parents we are leaving behind in April to go on a Celebrity cruise

I need advice from any Celebrity cruisers. I have a Sky Suite on Deck 12 on hold but just realized the pool is on Deck 14 . My suite is not below the pool tho, it’s just below deck chairs.

I don’t know what’s on Deck 13, it’s not listed . Is Deck 12 a bad location as far as noise?

I actually have had jewelry items I purchased on the ship stolen on the last sea day. Also I never use the safe for anything of real value. I have had to get someone to come unlock my safe because it wouldn't so I conclude that some of personnel CAN get into all safes. I just leave valuable jewelry at home just to be really SAFE .

Has anyone used rum runners in their checked luggage? Going out of Ft.Lauderdale on Oasis, have any problems?

one more thing, the Springhill Suites are totally booked 1-24. Dont know dates your looking for just FYI. Several large groups have booked them up.

How far is that Marriott Courtyard Plantation from the cruise port?

 

Is the Springhill suites that is across the busy street from the KMart and next to Burger King the one at "17th Street" or are there 2 Springhill suites?

I believe Marriott Plantation to be less than 10 miles as are others in Plantation area plus they would not be offering free shuttle if more than that. But to be sure give them a call if that is a concern. Hotel 954 475-1100 address is 7780 SW 6th Street

I noticed Plantation was much cheaper, but it's also further away from the port. I had to weigh the cost of distance versus convenience for me and my large group.

Just FYI, I just booked Courtyard by Marriott, Plantation for $159 and includes breakfast and free shuttle from airport to hotel and free shuttle to the cruise port :)
