Hi JVS.  All well here.  Hope all is well with your family too.

We have 75 days until Prima TA, give or take.

    You been cruising?

I'll see if I have a picture of the solution.

Would love to see a photo of Arthurs solution...he was great on our last Divina cruise.  DH has lots of weird dietary issues and he choose our meals every day and made them special!

Family is all well.  Sailing on the Breakaway in Sept. and a Divina 11 day in October.

My friend will be on the Prima TA with you!

All 3 rooms upgraded!! Haven here we come.

It seemed like they were processing the rooms from "lowest" category up to "highest". The 2br suite wasn't processed until over an hour after the courtyard suites were processed. I was still constantly refreshing some mock bookings and it seemed like rooms would slowly be taken off.

    Congrats!

Maybe you got my Haven Courtyard suite!

I moved to the 2 bedroom on deck 17...my preferred deck 😀

Now just waiting for the cabin # assignment.

    See you in the Haven.

BTW, we have a great Concierge onboard...John Dsouza!

For Bliss 12/5, I have one offer now marked "processing" while the rest are "expired".  Looks like we're going from a balcony to a spa club suite.  Not the Haven, but not bad at all.  Plus, we now get the Thermal Spa, which I haven't been able to talk the guy into on previous trips.  Maybe he'll see the light on how awesome the spa is 🙂

Congrats!  No more refreshing the page everyday!

    Mine shows processing too!

He has more energy than the energizer bunny for sure.

If you or DH like chicken parm, ask Arthur for that and lasagna from MDR on Italian Night.

OC today for lunch today he promised to make us something special for DH's allergies...can't wait to see what he comes up with!

Great you made it so far.

I keep getting that wrong, it is the Marina, not Marine, Margarita but ask for Kunal to make you his version.  Beat The Heat is also good.

Yes, I'll be adding photos and thoughts.

Oh my...all I can say is Arthur is FANTASTIC just as you said!

    Great to be back.

Hopefully you made it and will have a great trip.  Also hope you get Kunal and Paris in Le Muse.  They are great.  Ask for the Kunal Marine Margarita at Ocean House and his special sundae in Le Muse.

Arthur is there too to make it even better.

Thanks!  We made to to Orlando and board the Divina tomorrow!

We will definitely try for Kunal and Paris!

Looking forward to meeting the famous Arthur!

Are you going to do a formal review?

The 48 hours before is not time driven, it's date driven.  You have until 11:59PM 2 days before the departure.  This was outlined in the Q&A.

Thanks for that...I was worried for a second 😊

    Hey Dex!

Question for you about the covid test 48 hour timing.  Are they strict on the time we test 2 days before...ie boarding at 1pm, but test 2 days before at 11 am?

Also, does MSC test pre boarding at the pier?

Hope you are having a blast!

Haha..I answered my own question!  I just checked MSC website and they changed the wording from "taken 48 hours before departure" to  "taken within 2 days of departure."

DD got to go.  DS just started college so he was unable to go and he misses being on the ship.   This ship only has three cabanas by the TSL pool.  We were told we could request one ahead of time but did not do so today.  We went up to pool area and Bryan the pool server said your cabana is waiting.  We had one on the Seaside which has like 8 or 10 of them so it was nice.  Cooler was already stocked.

Not sure if you saw but we go on Divinia 9/26 hopefully for 4 days.  We'll miss you by a couple days.

We took our first MSC in 2017 on Divinia.  It is a smaller version of this ship except the restaurant is in the back.  When we sailed we had a Royal and our DS and his friend had one of those square rooms, they are nice and have a closest you can walk in as I recall.  The Royals on that ship are ok but we went with a Family Executive type on deck 12 - wanted to try something different.

Secrets, we'll supposedly Arthur is working in the YC restaurant or somewhere in YC which would be great.  That guy makes the energizer bunny look like a zombie.  The other, and it doesn't probably matter so much now with lighter loads, but to get to the restaurant we found it easiest to go down to first public stateroom deck, zip to the back, then up stairs to Le Muse.  You can go up and outside though too.  The first night the butler may take you down to the main atrium deck and then back up but that can be busy.

Oh...too bad we will miss you on the Divina!  What other cruises do you have booked in the future?  We have a B2B NCL Bliss in April.

Thanks for the tips you gave.  There is one RS still available (16008) on our cruise.  The upgrade bid is higher than booking outright.  I keep toying with booking it, but not sure we really NEED it, lol.

Hope you are having a blast!

There you are.  Haven't seen you in over a year.  Figured you and DH would be on NCL to Alaska this year.

Yes...I am here!  Fun to be back on CC again.  Glad I saw you were cruising this week.  Are your kiddos onboard with you and DW?  So fun to be in the RS😉

We will be on the Divina on Oct 3.  First time on this ship.  Would love your "secrets", lol.  We grabbed one of the YC Deluxe square suites!

Sure hope your week goes by super slooooow for you 😁

Hey Dex!  First cruise back after all of your cancellations?  Hope it's a blast!  We are going on Divina for the first time in October.  Any tips for the YC?  Also, do you happen to know if MSC has a transfer from MCO to the port?

Just talked to MSC and no shuttle transports until November, lol

So we have B, 3, 10.  Last I checked for our late September trip there are only two ships that day so we should be able to figure out which pier despite seeing nothing on MSC site for which one it is.

We’re booked!  The September 13 Copenhagen to Southampton and subsequent transatlantic.  The ports are fantastic for the Norwegian fjords sailing: Oslo, kristiansand, Bergen, Geiranger, alesund, Amsterdam, zeebrugge, Le Havre.  Only one sea day.

The subsequent TA is London, Shetland, rejivick, Halifax and New York.

have not seen pictures yet but a few things my pcc told me:  the Haven is at the back of ship with an infinity pool.  They only have 28 spa rooms. Owners suites with hot tubs on balcony. 2 bedroom Haven is a true 2 bedroom for 2 couples.  They have no Haven access suites like jewel class but price wasn’t much less. Crazy big promenade deck.

WOW WOW WOW!!!!!  You may have company on this one 🤗
