Sorry, left out the important part. Yacht Club

You’ll be able to get a table when you want. The dining room is rarely full. If you want all 8 you may want to pick a time and let the crew know. They will make it happen for you!

Thanks for the review. I sail YC for the first time on World America and then again on Seaside...I can't wait! 😍

You will love it!  MSC has won us over. The staff has always been amazing! Our butler on this cruise, Oomah will be on the team to get World America up and running. They are also excited about a new ship. She said the first wave of sailings the buglers will only have 7/8 cabins instead of 11/12. She said they will be timing service needs to make sure they deliver a great product. She mentioned that they need to figure out how long it takes to get a cappuccino for a guest cabin and things like that. 🌺

You said that there are “so many new ships to try” from Port Canaveral. You must be referring to various cruise lines. I am anxious for MSC to bring other ships to Canaveral. I have booked the Grandiosa but that is not until December ‘25.

Yes, we jump around cruise lines a fair amount. Port Canaveral is getting newer ships and ports than we’ve seen in the past. We will sail on Grandiosa also, just not sure when. 🌺

Interesting to read your comment about becoming fans of the short three night cruises. We tend to always cruise seven or more nights. Perhaps we should try a shorter YC cruise. We live south of Sarasota so drive to Port Canaveral or Miami is easy, prefer the PC drive. We were in YC on Seashore in April, next MSC is YC Seascape in November. With Carnival in between. Thank you for your “live” and now considering researching shorter options. Safe travels home!

We live in St Pete and tge drive to Port Canaveral is so much better! There are so many new ships to try from there.

The ease of the port definitely makes the 3 nights easy! Not sure if we would feel the same out of Miami or Port Everglades.

  5. In case you don’t know, MSC cancels your previous Voyager points if you don’t sail them within 3 years. We were in jeopardy of losing our Diamond status last December and booked a 3 night on The Seashore.

We have become fans of these short 3 night cruises in the Yacht Club. Before our cruise last December, we had only taken 7 nights or more cruises on any cruise-line. The short cruise highlights just how special The Yacht Club truly is!

Lets us know if you have any questions. 🌺

And here’s a question to see if any staff can answer: will the new MSC terminal in Miami be ready earlier than planned, like at the end of 2024 vs. spring 2025?

    Thanks!!

The word from our crew is still Spring 2025! They are very proud of the Miami HQ!

We are waiting to see pics of you trying the slides on the ship!! If not photos, at least your review of the slides; if DW was there, she would go with you S. (as I recall, W. wasn’t too keen on the idea!).

But if one doesn’t ride the slides on a port day, then a cabana is the excellent option. Fond memories of lunch with y’all on OC is making us hungry for lobster roll.

    Enjoying your live report…

So, no pictures but we did get a slide in right before it closed at 6:00! Fun racer slides!

  8. Wow! The thunder and lightning are louder than I’ve ever heard. And we have  been in a few hurricanes in our time.

Captain just announced that all food service will be served onboard today for the safety of the crew.

We will find out later if we can get off to walk around. Wayne and I always go with the flow. There are done unhappy people but we will just avoid them. 🌺 The crew is taking great care of us!

We wish we were sailing with y’all but a vicarious cruise will have to do! Have a wonderful trip; DW asks you to enjoy a salted caramel expresso martini on her behalf-LOL

Your friends from Dec 2023 Seashore cruise…

Vishnu was our first Yacht Club butler back in 2018. I still have his Yacht Club business card even though he is now with Regent Seven Seas.

He was the best!!! They better treat him well at Regent! 🌺
