  2. My children are 13 and 11.

Will they be able to sign themselves in and out or will we be required to do it for them. They are both independent and are used to signing in and out on Princess and Celebrity but P&O introduced a new very frustrating system for my 11 year old which did not go down well for either of us.

Any idea of the sorts of activities on offer?

    many thanks in advance

  3. We are sailing on Anthem IN THREE WEEKS!!! and are considering putting down a deposit for another cruise. Sorry a little excited! :o

We have done this several times with Princess and wonder how it works with Royal Caribbean.

Do you get better deals if you book on board? How much do you put down? How long does the deposit last? Does it give you extra on board spend? Low deposit etc?

  4. We are due to sail on 27th March and appreciate there will be at up to five cruises before then.

My worry is will they limp on now and then dry dock in 6 weeks once everything can be organised which would then hit our cruise.

Is the cruise today going out as planned?

Why is Royal Caribbean so reluctant to tell us what is going on?

I was so impressed with the video of the Captain telling everyone the information they needed to know about the weather but now I am questioning why he didn't mention the problem with the engines at the same time? Passengers aren't daft and could see the wake of the ship so why not come clean?

  5. Here is a longer, single version.

Thanks so much for posting the video. I am feeling a lot more happy about the likelihood of our cruise going ahead and have total confidence in the captain. I am so impressed he did such a long interview and explained everything. Really helpful to see the weather charts and storms being forecast and brewing.

Do we think the ship will be "ship shape" by our cruise? The domes for the satellites are pretty essential I would have thought and they will need to order masses of glass. It looks like he thinks they will be ready for the next cruise.

  6. American icon grill on deck4 is open for breakfast. Silk is for over flow. It sit down and relaxing. I hate buffet too.

270 is quite place to just pick your sandwich and stuff. No cattle herd there.

I heard solarium is open and it quite.

So American Icon Grill sounds like the only option for sit down cooked?
