I heard that dancing would be held in another venue on the ship. He always plays until 12:30 or 1:00 a.m. from 9:45.:)

When Sheila and I were on Summit July 15th, Lionel was training with Aurora. They were both wonderful people. He was very nervous about taking over and missing his family back in India so much. I'm sure that he is doing a terrific job and please say hi for me. Have a wonderful cruise.

I forgot to say that I had connecting room and could not hear any noise from next door. Also no noise from Rendezvous above and I'm a very light sleeper. Also I was in bed by 10:30 most nights when you might expect to hear activity but nothing!!!!Didn't even hear them taking away luggage on final night!!!
Everything was brand new in washroom - so clean. Curtain in shower was fine - I prefer that to glass doors.They even removed my shower curtain one day while I was at breakfast to wash it and had it back when I returned after lunch.
My bed and sofa/chair faced forward. The cabin beds seem to alternate.
Have booked 3118 for a Nov., 2013 cruise.

Just returned from Bermuda cruise and loved this room. Window is marvellous - I could lie in bed and watch the NY skyline and bridge going by without raising up at all. Room did not seem any larger than regular OV but everything was so new. Location is wonderful - can scoot up back elevator to middle of buffet, walk easily to Guest Relations and middle glass elevators and very quiet hallway - no through traffic going by. Very quiet area. The washroom didn't seem to be used very often by 3112. Beds are sideways - not under window which I don't like!!!
Anyone would be very lucky and happy to be in these cabins!!!

:) I was on the same cruise and found it very enjoyable. The service and staff were great and I've never had better tours or guides. The GPS system on tours was excellent. The bar was open all day and night and there were top brand liquors available. Wine with lunch and dinner was very good and plentiful. I would rate the food 4.5 because there were many different items and I'm not very venturesome with trying new foods. Everything else was definitely 5 star. I would certainly recommend Scenic and would like to travel with them again.
