I had Stewart as my cabin attendant on one of my cruises. He is great. :-)
I had him too. he showed me where the ice was so I didn't have to bother him.
love Steward :D

By caving in when you knew better, you have made things worse for fellow travelers. Thanks a lot. Not.
$30- for 5 suitcases and 2 totes full of crap... i wouldn't call it caving :p
cheap at half the price! might even throw in a tip :D

we got our staggered boarding notice today. It appears the terminal will be crazy. We overnight so is there an All Aboard time, or can we check in after the zoo, say around 7?
It's Buenos Aries Immigration fault... 3 ships in Port at the same time. Maybe that's why they all overnight in BsAs?
Can we check in the day before then go back after boarding starts? I'd guess no

great idea, thanks!

Entrance from 17th St. is closest.
depends on where you're coming from... 24th could be closer

they won't get by the Seahawks, tho... just sayin' :D
i will be berthed in BsAs for the game, with set sail @ 6 pm. probably a party even if there's only us. GO HAWKS!!
and for sure GO DUCKS!!!

our helicopter landed twice. at an ice cave and again at an abyss. no entering the cave as they calf a lot and it's considered dangerous

we just paid $1,700+ to South America. Asia and the Pacific rim are mismo. don't even ask about down under... so it ain't just Europe :(

The best way to get to Valparaiso from Santiago is by doing a winetour transfer.
We did one the other way around from the port to Santiago.
are you sure that's the best way? i was thinking of taking the bus

"wasn’t too hurting in the morning so all is good. "

60,000 points will get you $750- statement credit. pay it to Princess towards the cruise and get 15,000 points = $150- OBC. UBB is 5,000 ($50-) but if using OBC is only $32-... that leaves $18- for Crooners :D

they are now B4 - premium balcony

In Argentina, US dollars are now king! Research this using the term "blue dollar".
will do, thanks
You can check the "oficial" versus the "informal" or "blue" rates here: http://www.ambito.com/economia/mercados/monedas/dolar/
means nothing to me. can you just answer the question?
Obviously, you need to be careful with the cash, keeping it in a safe, money belt, or inner pocket.
always, learned that lesson in Mexico years ago. thanks for the reinforcement tho...

hang out by the pool with a bucket of beers instead. way better value than overbearing "hosts". in the sanctuary. i went one deck down to get my own beers cuz i was to onrey to pay the $3 fee. go figure ;)
just sayin...

We will be in BA for 4 days and Chile for the same. so, what is the preferred currency? research says C-notes are best for cambio, but how many does it take? how many small bills in $US? are ATM's a better choice?
happy new yearrr!

We have C753, which is starboard aft. booked it way in advance because i knew they go fast. you can find pics on google images. you should jump on it ! there's a reason they call them Premium...

Do Mocktails and soft drinks count during a Bar Hop? I hope so, it does seem a good way of locating where various bars are on the ship, and having a LOT of fun doing so! This would really help with me documenting as much as possible photographically on the cruise, with regular "refreshment/rest stops" :D
Crochetcruise
of course they do, hard part is finding all the bars :D and i agree totally about the wake view on Sapphire :p:D
We bar hop every cruise!!

I'm trying Princess for the first time in 22 days on the Grand princess, I hope its a nice ship. Do you have the link from the original posting with all the negative comments? I've noticed so far the roll call is pretty boring compared to my past carnival cruises. It looks like its going to be an older crowd which doesn't really excite me much:rolleyes:. I'm by no means young (late 30's) but would prefer not to hang out and chat with 70 year olds!!
AZmike480
ouch!! just wait boy, you WILL get old ;)

your day in Whittier will be quite short (thankfully), depending on the train/tunnel schedule, it is a wonderful trip!!
What is a reasonable time frame for your TA to get back to you?
in Princess Cruises

if you're doing all the work, why the TA? i haven't used one since our good friend retired long time back...
IMO you don't need a travel agent. period.
