Nothing for Glory in 2015. Hope they dont change. We just went through this with the Conquest.
-
Just got my letter from Carnival. We are being switched to the Splendor instead of the Conquest.
Us too.

Thanks for the info. I will be calling my PVP this morning when she gets in at 11 and I will let you know what she has to say
Please let us know. I emailed my PVP but waiting for response. I also asked John Heald but got a vague response from him

We are on a B2b with Conquest next April. Hmmmm, we will soon find out
-
Thanks for all of the response. Hopefully passport arrives soon, but atleast we know there is a good chance she can go.

Im not completely certain the details of name change. He said he has the papers showing it. It would be so much easier if the passport would arrive.
-
That may be the best option if Carnival will chan.ge it

My friends are going on there first cruise in 2 weeks. They have guardianship of a 13 yo girl. They have all the papers for that and a notorized paper saying its ok to leave the country. Here is the dilemma. They applied for a passport 2 weeks ago and had it returned for more info. They resubmitted and now the wait.
The girls last name on the BC is different than her now last name. They have an embossed birth certificate and the court papers for the name change. In your opinion if her passport doesnt arrive will she be allowed to board ship? Thank you in advance.

We cruise in 2 weeks on Breeze and would like beach bag

We stayed in 10290 on the Breeze last April on a B2B and loved the location. We never had any issue with noise with one exception, the door that leads back to pool area was used one night by a ton of kids running the halls and it slammed non stop for an hour or so. It didnt bother us enough, we booked exact room for this April on her.

Mr Sanchos and Nachi Cocum are adjacent to each other and Playa Mia is just a bit further down the same stretch of beach. Since you said the food was only average at Playa Mia, why not try one of the other two? Same sand & water. Mr Sancho's caters to families with kids, and Nachi is adults only. I had camarones aliole, shrimp grilled in garlic last time at Nachi, it was excellent.
Another beach in the opposite direction but still on the same coast is Paradise Island. You can reach that by speedboat or catamaran, and they serve a lunch of chicken and ribs with rice.
We did Nachi last year and there were kids. My daughter, 2 nieces and 3 nephews. As well as other kids.

We have always used them in the past, but this April they will not pick us up at the port of Miami and take us to a hotel in Ft Lauderdale. They have in the past, but no more. Really dissappointed with this. Never had a complaint with them.

Our in Vermont is 4/14-4/18. Public school

Our friends are arriving at 12:30am at FLL and staying downtown MIami. Can anyone give me a transfer company? I uses SAS but they wont pick up that late. Thank you in advance.

My PVP called me last night to let me know that I have been selected to participate. I have 2 families that are going to be booking soon, hopefully with in the next two weeks

No pictures, sorry. We were in a smallish bus, there were 14 people on the bus. The bus holds about 18, so I don't think you have to worry about him cancelling. The bus is nice, clean, and airconditioned.
The tour was supposed to be 3 hours but we went for about 4 hours. He gives you the option of being dropped off at the beach, downtown or at the cruise terminal.
I booked Sonny several months ago and did reconfirm at the beginning of October that we were still "on." He did respond quickly, stating "so far, it looks good." I know he said that gas is about $6/gallon in Aruba, so he probably has to have acertain amount of people to make money.
We've done several independent excursions, and I can say that Sonny's is among the best. And only $30 ~ a bargain!
Thanks for the feedback. We only have 5 confirmed so far in our group. I hope we can get some more before too long. Im curios if we will be cancelled.

Just wondering what to expect? We are sailing on the Conquest out of the Port of Miami in 44 days. Staying at a local hotel, and taking a taxi to the port. My husband and I are traveling carryon only, will we be able to take our bags directly to our room ourselves, or do we have to leave the carryon bags at the check in? Is there a specific area designated for the Conquest? Will our cab driver know where he is supposed to drop us off?
We stay at the Holiday Inn - Port of Miami and take a $10 taxi ride to the port. Its a flat rate from airport to downtown hotels with a taxi.

I second the Lido balcony. We had 10290 on our B2B last April on the Breeze and will have it agoin this April

Here is a link to another thread on it, http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1888212&highlight=carnival+freedom+dry+dock

I might be wrong but the Freedom is in drydock for the month

The 11.50 was a steal. We had a 2 hour open bar on our Breeze cruise this past April. There was about 150 people there. The cost for 2 hours was 20. Trust me they lost money on that one.
And what a time it was!

When are you going?
We have Sonny booked for our cruise in early November. If you like, I'll come back and tell you all about it.;):)
We are going in April.

Thank you!

Been on the Breeze 3x and Liberty 2x. I would lean to the LIberty (my favorite ship) but itinerary and cost would also way into the factor.
