  1. But your FCC no longer expires

As of June 1, 2022, the portion of the FCC value that represents 100% of the cruise fare paid on your original reservation will no longer expire.

The incremental 25% bonus value that was provided will expire on the original expiration date or on 12/31/22, whichever is later.

It's a total of $12 to upgrade to the Premium package. $10 for the upgrade and a 20% gratuity.

I think if the casino is a money maker for ships they should have the staffing required to offer one Craps table at least.  I do usually enjoy the non-smoking craps games.

Celebrity doesn't run the casinos, it is outsourced.

Last time I tried to call to upgrade, they wouldn't do it because our reservation is with a TA (took me an hour on the phone to find this out).  I gave up and just booked online without the Captain's Club discount since it was a 5-day cruise.

For our upcoming cruise, I had my TA call about the upgrade, reminding her there was a CC discount.  Just checked my OBC and of course X charged the full price.  Very annoyed that X didn't automatically apply it, and she didn't pay attention, either.  I asked her to please call again for the adjustment.

Anyway, my point is if you have a TA, they have to make the call, and make sure they know to get the discount.

Who did you call? You must call the Captain's Club, not the regular Celebrity number.

  5. Post from Equinox FB group  about yesterdays sailing: "Celebrity Equinox can hold up to 2,850-passengers. Our current sailing that departed yesterday only has 350 people. So that’s only traveling at 12% of its capacity! "

Here’s a question for everyone. Celebrity is quick to add a gratuity on the Spa Treatments, Drinks at the bars, Drink Packages, Bottles of wine and the automatic gratuities to our cruise price. Why then do they leave Specialty Restaurants up to the guest to figure out what is the right thing to do???  Could it be that part of the extra charge is actually a gratuity?  I’m going to have to reread the description on Specialty Restaurants but my recollection is the gratuity mentioned in it refers to any drinks you get at the restaurant.

From additional term: All cover charges are per person. Restaurant reservations are subject to availability, and reservations are non-transferable. Additional items such as beverages, menu supplements, food and wine pairings and gratuities are not included.

  7. Deck 5 Port side has two smoking sections, one by the entrance to the theater and one by sushi on 5. They briefly switch to starboard, occasionally, in early AM to swab the deck and refueling while in port.

There is smoking, at the tables only, located at the Mast Bar.

Sunset Bar, port side, at the tables and along the grass.

Smoking port side on the pool deck was discontinued two years ago.
