  1. I will turn platinum during my cruise in March, and it shows Priority/Platinum on boarding pass and documents. I am also doing a cruise in July, but it still shows me as Gold. I've paid for the March cruise but I'm still paying for July to Alaska. Is the reason it doesn't show Priority for the July cruise because it isn't paid for yet, or should I call and get it corrected? Thanks.

  2. love: lobster, steak and eggs, filet mignon, crème brulee, grand marnier soufflet, pizza, pasta menu items as appetizer, alchemy martinis, room service pb&j and potato chips when buzzed, omelettes, eggs benedict, huevos rancheros

meh: adventurous menu items, soft serve, taste bar fare, iced tea and lemonade, Mongolian place, pasta place at lunch

hate: no coffee creamer, guys (makes me sick), dry pies and cakes, size of the fruit and veggie appetizers at MDR

  3. We had fun snorkeling there with our equipment. However, unless you are adventurous I wouldn't walk. We did, and wished we hadn't. It was hot and miserable for us. This time we are renting a golf cart ($100 cash) so we can enjoy the beaches with less sweat!

  4. Did the Kukoo Kunuku when I was in Aruba in May. Believe I was in port from 11 am to 11 pm. This tour started around 5 and ended around 10.

Was this thru the ship? can we bring our 17y.o. or is it only for adults? (I know he couldn't drink; just wondering if they have a price for minors).

  5. We aren't interested in getting off Carnival Legend at Victoria, but in the past when I chose not to debark at a port, I noticed nothing was really open to enjoy on the ship. Even the shops were closed when the ship was in port. The Legend docks at Victoria from 7p to 11p. Does anyone know if the ship offerings close during that time, or what stays open (bars, food, shopping, casino, Serenity, etc.)?

Also, does anyone know if the Victoria day is considered a Sea Day with Sea Day Brunch since the ship doesn't get in to Victoria until the evening?

    Thanks so much.

  6. Tuesday, 8/7 Carnival Legend, pier 91, to United flight 11:40 at SEA-TAC. 2 ppl, no mobility issues.

Can someone recommend the fastest way to get there to not miss the flight? We are platinum and will do self-assist debark, but I don't think CCL offers a luggage transfer program. I am looking at the CCL transfer, uber, and Shuttle Express, but wonder which may be the fastest option.

I know this has been asked several times, but not for the same exact situation and so I'm looking for advice for Pier 91, Carnival, Tuesday commute.

    TIA!

  7. Thanks everyone. So for about $100, which does seem like a lot to me, I would just get the one way for three. I called Laura’s shuttle and they will charge us $28 per person round-trip which is $84. Not bad comparison but I’m wondering if the trade-off is having to go on their schedule and possibly picking up others. Has anyone use Laura’s?

  8. so cool that you'll be posting as you go...makes us feel like we're right there with you. I'm interested in your thoughts on how long in advance to get in line for comedy, the chair hogging situation on open decks, and chair availability at Serenity. Thanks!!! :D

  9. We were on the Legend this summer and had Cheers and spent every night at the Plaza Bar. It looks exactly like the Alchemy Bar, the bartenders wear the white lab coats, the menu is awesome and lights up, etc.

Can anyone tell me where the Plaza Bar is? I can't find it on the deck plan.

  10. I can't seem to find O2 on the deck plan for Legend. Can someone tell me where it is? I'm going next summer with my 17 y.o. and want to plan a room convenient to O2.

Also, any suggestion on whether the left or right side (facing front) is better for views doing Tracy Fjord?

    Thanks.
