  1. In the JourneyView section of the app can I add my own notes? Thank you,
  2. I am. Or was. I always overpack and I'm trying to do better so I'm deciding what I really need vs what would be a nice convenience.
  3. I'd like to walk around with it and thought it would be easier than in a cup. Thx!
  4. Oh, I think it's my first and last time using a TA. She quoted me the wrong price, then billed me for the highest package when I requested the middle one, and I don't think I saved any money using her.
  5. My travel agent just sent me an email letting me know about the new seafood restaurant, but on the 2nd page of the pdf it shows 11 other peoples booking numbers and full name. Mine included. So I'm assuming they all can see mine. Is this an issue? What can someone do with this info?
  6. 1st time cruiser here. What is the process for tendering? I assume people with an excursion booked through Princess get priority, but what about the rest of us? I'm on the Majestic which is a larger ship. Assuming worst case scenerio, what's the longest it will take to get off? And I assume the return time will be earlier than what it would of been? Thanks everyone for all of your insights!
  7. The airport has a luggage service: https://ancairport.com/faq/can-i-store-luggage-at-the-airport/
  8. Per All Trails it's 7.6 mi round trip with a gain of 3700', some of that is at 38 degrees, and takes 6-7 hours. But that's round trip, if you took the tram down it'll cut your time but not in half. Uphill is a killer for me cardio wise but downhill is a killer on my knees lol. If you do it let us know!
  9. I wouldn't pass on a whale watching tour (or any tour really) just to be back for dinner. I agree with others to pass on the lumberjack show. Depending on your ability, you can hike to the top of Mt Roberts (free tram down!), if not then do the Gold Creek Flume trail.
  10. That helps a lot, and I can do 3 miles in an hour so my pace must be average. Thanks!
  11. Oh, less than I thought then. I was picturing a 20 minute hike or so lol. Thanks!
  12. As in, if I were to walk from one end to the other (unobstructed) how long would it take? How about walking from the Wake View Bar to the Hollywood Conservatory? I've never been on a cruise and I'm having a hard time visualizing how big it. Thanks!
  13. I'm a little confused. We land in Vancouver on Friday morning and our ship leaves the next day. I would like to buy a day pass for our time in the city but can't seem to figure out if I need a compass card or if I can just buy a ticket? If so, it seems like I can take the sky train to my hotel and then use buses around town on the same ticket? Can I use it to take the Sea Bus as well? Thank you!
  14. @Eaglecw-Yes,we are renting from Affordable Car Rental, it was much less than anywhere else I could find. I knew about the 200 mile limit, I was just going to bite the bullet and spend the extra for the over the mile limit. Interesting about the suspension bridge, sounds like it's more of a tourist trap kind of place? Thank you for your thoughts.
  15. If you've been there, can you tell me what's available? Current books or ones I'd find at Goodwill? Fiction only? Board games, puzzles or cards? Thanks!
  16. We have a car rental for the day and the Yukon Wildlife Preserve near Whitehorse looks interesting, but I think it's too rushed of a day to visit. The tour bus at the preserve is at noon and lasts 1.5 hrs, or we can walk the trail (3 km, reviews say it takes 2 hrs). Google Maps says it's a 2.5 hr drive from Skagway, not including the border crossing. Pick up the car at 7:30 am, be at the preserve by 11:00. Either walk and be done by 1:00 or wait for the noon shuttle and leave by 2:00. On our way back stop at Carcross (how long?), Emerald Lake (15 min?) and the Yukon Suspension Bridge (an hour?). Ship leaves at 8:30 pm, idk what time we need to be back on but the car is due back by 7 pm. Typing this out it seems like we should skip it, but if you have any thoughts I'd love to hear them. Thank you!
  17. Not technically a discount, but you can save 10% by buying gift cards from AARP.
  18. I apologize if this has been asked and answered already, but is the "find your friend" like a marauders map where i can see their little blips walking? How up to date is it, like if I see they're at the Wake View bar but they're actually leaving, when will it update their location? Thanks!
  19. I know if you buy a package it's $15 per day, but does anyone know what it costs if you just want to buy it for a day or two?
  20. The only car company I see near the port is Avis and they want $240 for the day. The airport location is much cheaper but it seems like I'd either have to take an Uber or a bus to get there and back. How are you handling the logistics of renting a car?
  21. I want friends like that lol
