  1. The sister ships are moored side by side this morning🥰
  2. The Grand Celebration is moored in Nassau. Was shocked to see her there. Is this something new?
  3. Watching for the Classica to make her entrance into Nassau. She is next after Norwegian Sky 🥰🚢🚢
  4. You are so correct. Today if you go to the Palm Beach webcam you’re can see the Grand Classica at the mouth of the port cruising back and forth. And if you look at the inside shot of the port you could see the Grand Celebration moored in her berth. Both ships almost together. Great chance for the cruiseline for publicity pictures.
  5. Why is the Classica taking so long to come into port of Palm Beach. It seems to be sitting out their waiting for a pilot boat?
  6. Yes but it’s the Junior suite not the Veranda Suite with the balcony. There are only two of them located on deck 5 midship. They are ocean view but it has a living area and separate bedroom. I’m cruising in January and the weather might not be so conducive to sitting on the balcony anyway.
  7. I’ve stayed in their Veranda Suite and I wasn’t impressed with it. The beds are too low to the ground. Plus there is only a small desk for food and drinks. The suites on the Grand Celebration are much nicer and the beds are truly comfortable. So I caught a picture of the Junior Suite on their website and it looked perfect for what I wanted. Also the bed looked higher off the ground than the larger suite. I booked a January cruise in the Junior suite to Nassau. Looking forward to a different experience plus I love the smokeless casino.
  8. I had the same trouble you did. I bet they get booked real fast. I’m seriously thinking about that. Just don’t like cruising when the winds starting picking up especially when they come from the north. Too bumpy!
  9. I like that little marketplace but I can’t walk that far because my knees are bad. I always get a taxi to take me over but like you guys said it’s not always open. I’ve stayed at Port Lucaya so many times it holds no interest for me. My fun is just getting away from West Palm Beach and being out on the ocean. I’m definitely going to take that Nassau cruise.
  10. Has anyone stayed in the Junior suite on the Grand Classica? I’ve stayed in the Grand Terrace Suites but wasn’t aware of the Junior suites. I stumbled across them and there is only two and they seem more modern than the Grand Terrace Suite. I also couldn’t find them on the deck plans. I’d like to book the Nassau cruise and stay in the Junior suite. Your input would be greatly appreciated.
  11. When I was on her in July she had paper straws.
  12. Will the trip to Nassau still be 2 nights?
  13. I’ve noticed that they have never changed her name on her ID number on Marine Traffic
  14. I am assuming that most people that are replying to this subject are from North America (USA, Canada and Mexico). However, I’ve got a question. The cruises that are in Europe and Asia do they restrict smoking on their ships in Europe and Asia. The Europeans and Asian people are notorious smokers. As for me, never smoked a day in my life but the cruise ships keep enough smoke away from me that I have no problem at all on ships. I did notice that the Carnival ships smell more Smokey than the Norwegian ships. Can anyone answer my question. TYIA
  15. Please read the previous post from Runbike cruiseDc. He states that he is going on a charter cruise on the Celebration to Nassau. That has nothing to do with their relief services to grand Bahama island.
