I did not had the feeling Celebrity is up from Princess. For us it is the same level.

Oxo,, so it is ,,, Princess Cruise will have a lot more cruisers. I hope so that Celebrity is learning.

For us it is very simple!!!! If Princess Cruises is not rising there prices,,, than Princess it is!!!! $ 49 + 15 % or $ 59 + 18 % is to me a big difference. And we like Princess just as much!!!!! Guess we have to say bye bye to Celebrity.

It is very confusing with the new prices on the different packages (when and where). Last summer it was confusing because Celebrity chance there prices on drinks, just before we cruised the first time with Celebrity. Nobody really know what was in the Classic package.

This time a new surprise! (Most be normal for Celebrity.:p) We booked the Classic package 2 month ago, with a 10% discount onbord credit. It is booked and payed! Do we still have anything to do with the new cost, price and gratuities (now18%) on our packages. Then I will cancel the package and pay as we go. I think it will be anyways cheaper for us. But it so convenient!

We will be in Ponta Delgada in May. We thinking of hire a taxi or rent a car. Rental car cost I know but don't know what a cab will cost us. Maybe you can help. Thank you

Is it a better price to buy the package before the cruise?

I think on short cruise the drinking is much more. After the first 2 days it wore off very quick.

Should a big company like Celebrity not first put a plan together before putting any thing out and playing stupid with there costumer. First they confuse us and then we have to say OOO so thankful for an answer. It really does not show good costumer services or knowledge and this is said very polity. I have no understanding how such a big mistake can be made.

This is maybe all fine for you, if you have time to wait. We are booked for Monday and the transition time will affect us. Absolute not happy about it. I guess one of us will up grade and we have no headaches about is. Not a good way to start with a new Cruise-Line for us. I wish I booked with Princess!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could change it, I would in a second.

If it got to feeling more like an all-inclusive resort: subpar meals, hot all the time (underpowered or no AC), lots of bugs... yeah, hot and buggy ships, that would be our deal-breaker.

I think you have not been lately in an all-inclusive. The nice ones don't just cut the nice drinks, like Cruise-lines are able to do so. You buy one thing and get an other.

When I booked last year in the fall, I noticed too, the classic-package is not really free (where is something free in this world).

If I could I would not book with Celebrity again.

Princess is serving me just fine.

But next week is my first Celebrity Cruise and if they don't really work a magical job, I can save me this stress of booking with a company not being reliable. Thank you bad no Than you!!!!!!!!!!!

I just put a message on a German forum, so that we get the info out not only in the English speaking world. I'm not willing to just take it with a smile. I'm very disappointed as a first time Celebrity Cruiser, if I could I would go straight back to Princess but our sailing is next week.

When airlines chance to only one luggage it was always with a booking date.

I thought there is enough competition in that market,,,MMMMm maybe not. Next week my first Celebrity Cruise is coming up...... maybe my last???? I don't buy a Mercedes and end up with a Golf, it does not mater what is in the contract. I feel disappointed in my expectations and cheated. For a first time Celebrity Cruiser it is a bad experience!

Would it be passable to go by bus first to the Nilson's Dockyard than to Darkwood Beach all by bus and later back to the ship again. I looked at the streets on Google i think it should be no problem if busses drive there??? Is that right????

I read that this new 2 bottle wine limit is not really looked after. Any experience in the last weeks? Did you had good or bad experience?
