  1. Muster Drill - oh carnival, move this inside!!! What gives with lining 9e8f3dbd26ffee53abdb4e34e53c7bff.jpg us up outside??? It's a pretty cool day in Miami but I could see where this could be truly miserable in the heat. Or for those with mobility issues. Time to evolve, in my humble opinion...

Just found your review and I’m loving it this far. Me and my ladies will be on the Victory in June and can’t wait!!!

As far as the mister drill goes, me and a group of friends went on the Vista last September and our muster drill station was inside one of the restaurants. So I believe they do have them inside, it just depends on your station I guess as to if it’s indoors our out

  2. Thank you for doing the review on the Vista!!! Other reviews I have seen have been more about the ports than the actual ship. We sail in September on a 6 day cruise so I am very interested on the new ship features and how it looks!!! Continue to have fun and enjoy her as I am living through you until I get to set sail on her :D:D:D

  3. Sadly, no. "Dr. Strange" & "Fantastic Beasts....."

I am on this same cruise, but I will wait until I am home to post my photos/review. My experiences will be slightly different as I am traveling with my husband only. We are staying in the Havana area (Love it), have Thermal Suite passes (Enjoyable), and have several specialty dining planned.

The ship is beautiful, and I am surprised by those that feel it lacks "Wow!" It is also full to the brim with people. I have heard we are at max capacity, including 900+ kids.

Where did you receive the passes for the thermal suites? My DH has a back injury and we are booked on the lido deck with friends. I am getting us couples massages but would love for him to be able to use the thermal suites. We sail in September. Thank you!!

  4. We will be onboard the Magic July 23rd and I cannot find any information on what movies they will have playing on the Lido deck screen. If anyone knows what movies will be playing, or where I can find this information, it will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks :D

  5. Thank you for the review. We will be on the Magic July 23rd doing the same itinerary. This will be my fourth, DH 3rd, and our kids 2nd cruise. We have never been on the Magic and have only been to Grand Turk. We have been wondering what to do on these islands. Thanks for the heads up about the water shoes on Amber Cove!! Did you try any of the restaurants onboard? My last 3 cruises we never really strayed far from lido buffet or the MDR.

  6. All I have ever seen is the free bottle of wine. You can not drink it at the table and they will leave it unopened and you can take it back to the cabin.

    Take care,

    Mike

I have a reservation for the first night at the steakhouse on our upcoming cruise. The reason that I booked it is because we are celebrating our one year wedding anniversary and we were looking forward to the free bottle of wine to celebrate with. I was not aware that you cannot consume the wine during dinner. But I am happy to drink it on our balcony at night under the stars:D

  7. My last 2 cruises we had a balcony on lido deck (we were on the Breeze 2 1/2 years ago) and we love it!!!!! there is no noise and we were near the food and deck parties. we had no trouble getting to the lower parts of the ship because there was a set of elevators that we discovered were barely used our entire cruise so we made them our "personal" elevators that only we knew about and used lol. We are booked on the magic in July with a balcony on lido and on the vista September 2017 with a balcony on lido :D

  8. No the thread was clearly removed for some odd reason. Didn't seem to violate anything, so who knows. Who cares. It was mostly a depressing review of food at the point is was at.

Although my go to meal was removed so I will restate it for the record!

    Firecracker Jamaican Wings

Tossed in The Frog’s secret spices and a rum-molasses BBQ sauce.

(2 orders-thanks very much) (3 if DD 9 joins me)

    and

    TING MOJITO

Absolut Ruby Red Vodka, Grapefruit Juice, Fresh Lime, Mint and

Simple Syrup, finished with a splash of Ting.

(DD9 does not get one of these)

I love Caribbean jerk wings at my local bar!!! I believe the Firecracker Jamaican wings will be a nice spicy alternative!!! Can't wait to try them!!!! 10 weeks before we fly out to Orlando, FL. Red Frog will be my first stop once on board!!! :D Now are children allowed in the pub or are there certain hours that they cannot be there?
