I am doing this on the Panorama on the April 20th sailing, I will report back any differences I notice. Last chef's table was 2 years ago.

I got on her on April 20th! I think I am going to do a review 🙂

Love this, I am a banker, my mom is a retired banker, my boyfriend owns a business, my dad is a biker and retired head of HVAC at a nuclear power planet.

Thank you! We leave in 15 days! I have never been on a boat this big.
-
Nice tip about the Indian dish! It is always amazing. I figured this out a few years back!

Great review! How did you watch Netflix?

Raging alcoholics and professional drinkers here. We always get cheers. Sometimes we get close to our 15 drink limit and “buy rounds for our friends” so we can stash booze around the ship for later. Plus the convenience of being able to order a free Bloody Mary in the morning from whatever bar we passed out next to in a lounge chair/life boat is worth the convenience. Once the hangover shakes are gone, we head over to the coffee bar to get energized for another day of out of control drinking fueled by a strict 2 shots followed by a monster energy drink (also free) ratio to maximize our package. On port days we wake up an extra 30 minutes early to get a shot every 5 minutes so we can get in 6 shots before leaving for port. That way we’re ready for a fun day in the sun and warmed up for our all inclusive drinking and nacho excursion. On port days we rarely get in our full 15 but we will hit the bar before bed to fill our free water bottles up with booze for the morning (we pour that nasty water stuff out).
Cheers is totally worth it. ;p
(Sorry couldn’t resist...but we do get cheers ;) and love the convenience and ability to try whatever we want and not care about the bill )
This is amazing!!!! hahahaha love it

Conquest is our favorite ship! I can’t imagine choosing a different, bigger ship while we have everything we love on it!! Leaving in a little over a month!
-
I made HMC in January once (missed it once but not due to weather) and made it in April!
-
I loved the Conquest! She is my favorite ship! We are sailing on her again in January 2018!

On April 24 sailing we had Tijana, Kat and Yulia. Yulia is my favorite but she is gone now and going to another ship when she comes back!

I got a duffle on the Conquest in January and packing cubes in April on the Conquest. I loved both and use packing cubes already so I would have preferred another duffle.

Wonderful review. I cruise on the Conquest for my first cruise ever in June b

You will have a blast!!! I will post more of the review tomorrow! :)

Enjoying your review! We'll be on the Conquest in June and I'm excited. We're probably doing a different itinerary, but, I love reading about the ship beforehand.
I enjoy the same thing which is why I wanted to review it! I love the Conquest! We did Grand Turk, Amber Cove and Half Moon Cay

Hi Amber,
I was on that cruise with you :) Hubby and I went to the Steakhouse on the first night to celebrate my Birthday. How did you like Amber Cove?
I loved Amber Cove. I did the same excursion both times that I will post about hopefully tomorrow!!

We requested an UBER after getting our bags and UBER told you where the driver would pick you up. We were in a car in under 5 minutes and had an easy drive to Ft Lauderdale! (45 minute ride and with discount, it only cost us $15!!!) A note on UBER.... many drivers do not like driving into the ports so it might take a little longer for someone to pick you up but someone will. Also, you do not have to tip the driver but they REALLY appreciate it and some will rate you less than a 5 if you do not tip, especially on short trips.
So, Uber gets to rate it's passengers on if they tip or not? That's Uber-ridiculous!!!
Yes! Isn't that crazy!?!

As I am sure you are all aware, the Steak House has HUGE cheesecake, so, mom and I split one and Matt and I skipped on dessert.
The experiences were very similar on the two cruises but with Matt and I, we were sat right by the smoking deck window which sort of killed the mood. Try to sit on the other side of the restaurant.

Steakhouse, in contrast, was MUCH better of a first night pick. Mom and I went to the Steakhouse, too, but on Tuesday night. I will talk about BOTH Steakhouse experiences here. (This review may seem all over the place but this is just how my brain is working right now).
Matt and I went to the Steakhouse for our 6:30 reservation and it was very slow in there. I was surprised since the first night is always busy because of the wine promo. Service was great and we chose to get 50% off of any bottle of wine since DH is not a big wine drinker. Her suggestion was awesome.
Mom and I had Cheers so her and I opted for a moscato and pinot gris. I loved the Ecco pinot.
MY FAVORITE SOUP IN THE WORLD!! Carnival Lobster Bisque. I got it both times.
I chose the Grilled Portobello and he got the Beef Carpaccio instead of salad

Although Matt and I went to steakhouse, mom and I did eat in the MDR on our first night and we failed at our dinner choices.
We had shrimp cocktail (old faithful, good, not great) Mahi mahi (TERRIBLE) and the chicken (dry) the cheese plate (yum) orange sherbert (yum).
Does this look like fish to you? Yuck.

$150 per person for the Chefs Table
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
On the same note, I am doing a Chef's Table at Essence in Elkhart, IN for the same price and it is heads above any Chef's Table I have done on Carnival but I get sick of the MDR on the cruise, I like doing Steakhouse, Teppanyaki and Chef's Table to break it up.
