John Heald told me it would likely be on Conquest by our January cruise! I hope it's true!

You get to be excited for longer!! Also, you can have longer to pay it off and count on the lowest price guarantee!

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this review! We are fixing this exact struggle by spending 5 days at The Wilderness Lodge and then going on a Carnival Cruise! haha!

I could not justify the cost difference and I am very very loyal to Carnival. My inlaws finally agreed to my plan and I hope they will not be disappointed!

That is correct. If the cabin category is sold out, price drops are over. However keep checking as people do cancel and switch thereby freeing up a once sold out category.

I heard back from John and he believes that the new menu's will be on the Conquest by October, but he cannot confirm exactly when. Also, Mike Pack will still be the CD for our cruise in October. Good to hear as those that have been on her, say he is really good.

I asked him about the menu and chips this morning and he said "Yes, there is indeed every chance and although I do not have a specific date there is a great chance you will get to enjoy the American Table menu when you sail. I will keep you informed. The salsa is for toppings for the tacos and not for "ships" [sic] and salsa per say but I am asking the beards again as I think it may be a nice addition. Thanks mate and have a wonderful cruise and a great life together" John doesn't punctuate, so I quoted how he typed. I really hope we have the new menu, weird, I know!

I hate that I can taste everything from MDR by just thinking about it. I am itching for something new! I probably will cancel the Steakhouse and just do Chef's Table if the new menu is rolled out! (I just hope they roll it out SEVERAL months before we sail. I have heard the staff has a learning curve with it.)

That doesn't matter, you have to show them proof of either during embarkation. Check bc, bring passport!

This might be a silly question but how do you know if the price dropped if you have an aft extended balcony and there are none left? Should I assume they will not drop that price category since it is booked?

Hi all! Dh and I set sail on our severely delayed honeymoon on January 3, 2016 (kids came so no cruising while they were babies)! Is there any chance that the Conquest will switch to American Table by then? We are some of the weirdos looking forward to something new and different!
