Thanks for the review so far!

Oh yeah I have to represent the Irish on every cruise [emoji256][emoji458][emoji256][emoji458][emoji256] I love Notre Dame football.
I find it a little odd though that your profile name is about "Purdue" [emoji6]
I went to Purdue but live in South Bend. The dh went to MSU so loved your shot glass. Haha. We need to cruise with you!

An empty Lido Deck at breakfast...yeah that never happens  Where is everybody???
No Lines on Lido.....
After breakfast it was time to hit the pool. Port Days like this where I decided to stay onboard are so relaxing because there is no one around. It's like you have the whole ship to yourself
I love these little Huts on Lido
Nice ND shirt!! Go Irish!

I am just hoping that with the additional cabins added to Havana that they take this into account and add more lounge chairs. I am in the group that booked a Havana just for the private pool area but I also think that people will visit all the pools and explore the ship so I am hoping it is not too big of a problem.

Well, it's good for Florida... I was hoping something different would happen in LA..

We are doing both and will always try to do both. They are both different experiences and amazing. I like the steakhouse on the first night for the free bottle of wine!

I am anxiously waiting!

does anyone know if it is possible to order something to go from the MDR?
For instance - let's say I am not really hungry and just want to order an appetizer plate or 2 with WCMC to eat on my balcony..i have YTD
Has anyone ever tried this?
I have never not eaten at all in the MDR and just ordered "to go" but I have had an appetizer and took my main dish and dessert to go.

Thanks for the review! We are sailing her in January and April of 2016!

All I can say is YUM. I was getting tired of the old menu (minus the grilled cheese, yuuuuummmmy) just as I was getting tired of the old MDR menu, so I am incredibly open to these changes. Wings, cheese plates, cheese pizza, cobb salad, sushi (on bonsai sushi ships)!!

Do you know the reason why some ships get full 2.0 and some ships don't?
I think most of it is due to size of the ships. They can't take up too much space. I think with the upgrades, they should make it be a priority to have Guys and Alchemy since they are so popular but there are many ships with 2.0 upgrades that do not have either of these places. :(

The Carnival Valor! I love her :) Hopefully I will love the Conquest just as much. I have never been on a Dream class but I am excited about the Vista.

I have a Jan 2016 cruise scheduled. When I contacted Carnival, I was told the shore excursions for Jan 2016 would be loaded about 275 days out from cruise.
Others have said they were told the 2016 excursions would be loaded this May.
In reality, it will occur whenever Carnival decides it is time.
Hahaha. Agreed. I can't book our January or April excursions yet (for 2016).

Yes. My vista experience will include very little time in the mdr.

From our PVP:
The Havana Lounge (which includes El Patio, La Sala and Havana Bar) will be for the exclusive use of guests occupying the Havana staterooms until 5:00pm daily.
This will be awesome seeing as Havana prepares fresh eggs for breakfast!

8 days, here. I have always been on spring break or a week off of work. I can't do more than 1 week PTO at my company concurrently. When I retire, I am going to do as many BTB's and longer itineraries that I can!! 30 more years! haha

I am looking forward to no tablecloths. I personally hate them. It bothers me the whole meal if something has dropped on them. I can't wait for this streamlined look!

I am trying every specialist restaurant and chef's table!! I will do seafood shack, the salad bar, Guys, for lunch, and sushi as snacks or apps. Ji Ji's, Cucina, Steakhouse, Chef's Table and MDR for dinner. Breakfast- Havana or Blue Iguana! I am a little sad to not get a great connection with my MDR wait staff but I cannot wait to try these restaurants!

The earliest flight I have ever made was 10:50 at Miami and we just barely made it. We got off at 8:10 AM. I always book flights for Noon or later. I would rather relax and eat lunch at the airport than have that stress. Good luck!
