  1. The earliest flight I have ever made was 10:50 at Miami and we just barely made it. We got off at 8:10 AM. I always book flights for Noon or later. I would rather relax and eat lunch at the airport than have that stress. Good luck!

After breakfast it was time to hit the pool. Port Days like this where I decided to stay onboard are so relaxing because there is no one around. It's like you have the whole ship to yourself

  3. I am just hoping that with the additional cabins added to Havana that they take this into account and add more lounge chairs. I am in the group that booked a Havana just for the private pool area but I also think that people will visit all the pools and explore the ship so I am hoping it is not too big of a problem.

  4. does anyone know if it is possible to order something to go from the MDR?

For instance - let's say I am not really hungry and just want to order an appetizer plate or 2 with WCMC to eat on my balcony..i have YTD

    Has anyone ever tried this?

I have never not eaten at all in the MDR and just ordered "to go" but I have had an appetizer and took my main dish and dessert to go.

  5. All I can say is YUM. I was getting tired of the old menu (minus the grilled cheese, yuuuuummmmy) just as I was getting tired of the old MDR menu, so I am incredibly open to these changes. Wings, cheese plates, cheese pizza, cobb salad, sushi (on bonsai sushi ships)!!

  6. Do you know the reason why some ships get full 2.0 and some ships don't?

I think most of it is due to size of the ships. They can't take up too much space. I think with the upgrades, they should make it be a priority to have Guys and Alchemy since they are so popular but there are many ships with 2.0 upgrades that do not have either of these places. :(

  7. I have a Jan 2016 cruise scheduled. When I contacted Carnival, I was told the shore excursions for Jan 2016 would be loaded about 275 days out from cruise.

Others have said they were told the 2016 excursions would be loaded this May.

In reality, it will occur whenever Carnival decides it is time.

Hahaha. Agreed. I can't book our January or April excursions yet (for 2016).

  8. I am trying every specialist restaurant and chef's table!! I will do seafood shack, the salad bar, Guys, for lunch, and sushi as snacks or apps. Ji Ji's, Cucina, Steakhouse, Chef's Table and MDR for dinner. Breakfast- Havana or Blue Iguana! I am a little sad to not get a great connection with my MDR wait staff but I cannot wait to try these restaurants!
