We cruised these years ago and LOVED them, especially the therapy pools. As other posters said, not sure of changes made since - but the ships were beautiful and spacious.

The overall food and service are most important, but sometimes the little things make a difference. I'm looking forward to bedtime chocolates and I know I'll speak up if I can't find the to-go coffee cups.

We are promised paper coupon books worth $300 per stateroom by our TA for our August Equinox cruise. First we were told we'd receive by mail, then that we'd receive once onboard. So we'll see! I have low expectations. If someone has actually seen the books, please do post about them. I'd hate to book and pay for a photo package, etc and find a coupon later.

Has anyone had a sitting for black and white family portraits onboard Celebrity ships? As the sitting is free, I'm tempted to try and have a portrait session when we are all relaxed and happy. I'm curious if you liked the photography, and how expensive the prints were.

Well, I hope it's fun for families! We are booked for August 6th with two 9 year olds and an 11 year old. It will be their first cruise, and we purposely decided against a ship that was a floating theme park. We hope the pool, kids' club (which gets great reviews), arcade, etc will be enough to keep them busy. If we tried a ship with water slides first, I'm sure they'd always want that type of ship!

I bought two nice pieces from Park West on a cruise - over 5,000 and they appraised for the same once home. Seems like some have had bad experiences, but I enjoyed the process and am happy with my purchases.

I will be bringing three kids on a cruise this summer. They are between 9 and 11, and old enough that they may occasionally be without a parent (going to the stateroom to fetch something, going to the kids club, etc). If you see them running wildly in the halls, or otherwise behaving badly - please, by all means, ask them to stop. Better yet, politely let me know the next time you see me with them. There will be consequences. No matter how well we parents teach them, kids do sometimes misbehave. Some kids are easier to teach than others.

However, if you see them laughing or dancing or splashing in the (family) pool - try to remember they are happy kids on vacation. [emoji4]

From February 20 - March 3, 2017 my DW, Rosie, and I took a cruise vacation on Celebrity Equinox. The trip included a 2 night stop in New Orleans for Mardi Gras!
