  1. If I'm not mistaken. You should receive a email from the concierge, interdusing them selfs and welcoming you on board a few weeks before your cruise. And as said before, if you have requests. I would do it shortly after the cruise before yours starts. Happy Cruising!!!!

  2. a Taxi tour around the island. It's about 3 to 4 hrs. and is very nice A/C van. It run about $35pp. If you FaceBook https://www.facebook.com/perry.mcphee.9 He has taken us 4 times now around the island. Message him and you can set something up before you get to Nassau. He can do privet tours( just your family) if you want to pay $300. This is what my family dose. Also may want to do a Pub Crawl. This could be fun with your Grandmas and 1 year old :) Hope this helps. Happy Sailing!!!!

  3. I find that what I like may not be someone else cup of tea. I would suggest looking at videos people have posted on YouTube. I have a few posted on youtube. I like snorkeling off the beach. But type Coco Cay Snorkel or even the RC excursion name. Hope this helps. Happy Sailing!!!!

  4. OK, I'm not going crazy and if I had seen what you posted I would not have even mentioned it. I cut and pasted the itinerary from the RCI website and if you go on any online cruise TA site you will see the same. It shows that we arrive on 6/18 at 12:00PM and depart on 6/18 at 11:59AM. I do know the difference between military time and standard and as I said above I would not have posted this if it was the way you posted it. Unfortunately the formatting from the website did not stay but you could see what I mean in Red below.

My apologies, was not trying to point out that you were mistaken or wrong. I was trying to make a joke about this trip is in the Bermuda Triangle and weird thing happen and time is one of then. No hard feeling I hope and Happy Sailing!!!!!

  5. My reply was anything but irrelevant. Like everyone on here who asks "Is this a good price?" or "Should I book onboard?", the ONLY person who can value any cruise is the person buying it.

I told the OP that there was a choice: if the price/OBC was worth it to them now, they should book. Or they can take a chance and wait to book onboard. But one person's $1500/$100OBC "great deal" is another person's $1500/$100OBC "not worth it deal".

I hope you have a wonderful day.

LoL! OP asked what the advantage of booking on board was. And now both your post are irrelevant. They were asking what deals do they give on the ship. So they could decide if it was worth it to them. Not sure where your $1500/$100OBC came from. One more reason your participation on the post is not helping one bit.

  6. Just like every other "should I book on board" thread....

Pricing changes. If you're comfortable with the price and OBC now, book. If you want to take a chance that you'll pay less and/or get more, wait to book on board.

Only you know what price you want to pay.

I have to ask, why did you even bother responding? Your reply was not only irrelevant but border line rude. Your first statement was "Just like every other!"

  7. That is crazy! Now I don’t fault Royal for kicking anyone involved off the ship. I know there is 2 sides of the story. But I’m more instested in how long did Royal take to provide even simple first aid? And why did it take him hours to finally get to his brother with his other meds? Also wonder what Royal found when security looked into the first incident these two had with each other.

  8. We're getting a Cabana, which comes with 2 sets of snorkeling equipment. There are 3 of us who will be snorkeling -- will I be able to rent 1 set when we get to Coco Cay, since we have to go there to pick up the "comp" equipmant, or should I reserve in cruise planner, to make sure I get a set ?(only reason I haven't reserved yet is that there is a chance I won't be doing it, although I really want to)

I would rent the 3rd before you sail. I don’t see how they would run out of gear. There is so much of it. Also the vests are free as of 1-2018 Happy Sailing!!!

  9. My god the cost of the restaurant was enough, without any up charge

I've been where you're at! Sticker Shock;p Chops is a fantastic place to eat. I'm 6'1" 300lbs. and I'm full when I leave. The steaks that come with the $35 are very good. I was going to get lobster one time but at another $20 I said nope. Happy Sailing!!!!

  10. Do you find that it's better to book dining packages so you don't get tired of it?

Didn't do a B2B. But did buy a 5 dinner package on a 5 night Brilliance a few years back. Giovanni's was the first night. The group was not a fan. So for the next 4 nights we had Chop's. That was the only time in my life I got tired eating filet mignon. It wasn't that bad but I did get tired of the menu. As long as YOU change it up you will be fine. Happy Sailing!!!!!

  11. This isn't my video but it does show where the Cabanas are to the public area. At 2:48 of the video you see the Cabanas. To the right of them you see white umbrellas then some buildings. And finally you see the public beach chairs. So I'm not sure if this is what you were hoping for. But I hope this help you see the lay of the land better. Happy Sailing!!!!
