  1. We do not cruise as much as most people on this forum but we thought it would be neat to be some of the first passengers on a new ship. That's why we are doing the 3 night sampler. Its something different. I think it will be a different feel than what you get on a regular cruise.

  2. Along similar lines we had booked an ocean view room many months ago for the 3 day sampler. I noted last week that they had obstructed view balcony rooms at a lower price than we paid. I asked our travel agent if she could see about a room change at the lower price. We did not get the lower price but we did get a free upgraded to a regular balcony state room. :D

  3. My wife and I are on the 3 night sampler. We will be staying in Manhattan for three nights prior to our sailing. What is the best way to get to the Ship from Midtown Manhattan and then from the ship to Laguardia airport. We were thinking about renting a car on the last day and driving to a few places out side Manhattan and then dropping the car off at the airport. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

  4. My wife and I are booked for the Nov. 18th three night Quantum Sampler. Does anyone know what a sampler is and what we might expect? I know the Itinerary is not the Best.

Atlantic Ocean / Atlantic Ocean / Atlantic Ocean.

We actually are very excited even though we don't know what a sampler is.:D

  5. We were on Enchantment last summer and my wife and I enjoyed VCL several times. A couple of times it was quiet and we were able to relax. In the evening time and late night it was rocking. From what I see from the videos from RCC it looks like 270 is going to be phenominal. At times I think it will be quiet and relaxing but at other times when the windows are having scenes projected on them and shows are going on with the five 10 foot monitors it will awesome.

  6. Kealakekua is not easily accessable by car. The stop is beautiful and one of the best snorkeling sites I have ever been to. The raft is fun and we saw several dolphins. The water is deep where you get out of the boat.
