So what is the Paul Harvey - "The rest of the story" of when - what ship -
did this just occur after dry-dock - did you run the water to cycle this ugly
discolored water down the drain - where there other locations - cabin next
door - was the cabin steward notified - answer - reported to Hotel Director ?
"The rest of the story" Please ! I find this real hard to believe !!!!!
I was on the April 16 Spirit sailing. This is not my pic, but the water in my room was at least that dirty. Called Guest Relations and they said they were "changing the water source, and just run it until it was clear." Told the HD about it at the M&G the next morning, and he said they don't change the water source, there was nothing wrong with the water. "It is safe, it's the same water I use."
It was running clear by that morning. Only dirty like that the evening before. So I could not show him, wish I took photo.
Thankfully we had bottled water to drink and brush our teeth with.

Airport is about 35 minutes drive time from the port. Tsa security lines are long everywhere. Especially if You are booking at peak travel times. I would not want to arrive less than 2 hours before my flight.
Noon flight at the earliest would be my recommendation.
MCO is nice inside. Stores and restaurants are plenty. Easy to waste an hour there, and not worry about making your flight.:)

We love the Away class thermal spa. The Escape spa should be even nicer. For us, the spa suite is a great deal. Least expensive suite, and you have access to the spa, Haven, and all the other suite perks.:)

I have not been on the Escape, but the answer on the other ships is no. I would believe it is a fleet wide rule. You need to purchase a spa pass, They have weekly passes or if available, a daily pass.

Thanks again for such an in-depth review! All the work you put into it is appreciated.
You make me feel like I was on the cruise with you. :)
Looking forward to reading more.

That is terrible that you got sick on vacation, and had to miss some ports. :(
Hope you feel better soon, and still managed to have some fun!
Hopefully they will remove the charges.

Thanks to all for the info! :D
Depending on prices, I will look into a spa Balcony or spa mini.

I am thinking about going on the Epic. Trying to decide between a spa balcony or reg balcony. I love the thermal spa on the Getaway and Breakaway.
My question is how does the Epic Spa compare to the Away class ships. I have looked online at the videos, but was looking for some info from someone with first hand experience.
Thanks!:)

I wonder if the porters changed their policy.
I did not bring water on this time, so I don't know for sure. However, we saw more than a few people carrying cases of water onboard with luggage tags on them. We usually do bring water on, so we were paying attention. Just off Spirit on Saturday.

Thanks for all the time and effort you put in to this review!
Lots of good info and great pics. :)

I have not noticed any difference between noise from the next cabin that had a connecting door and one without.
Both rooms have there own door, so it is twice at thick as a single door.
I would not worry about it.
Have a great cruise! :)

If you can afford it, I definitely would. Especially for 12 day cruise.

That thread is in the ncl message board. Not an Epic specific board.
Currently on page 7 (using my standard settings)

No hole in the card. I don't know about the door.
Have a great time!:)

Hi All,
I booked a guarantee balcony and was just assigned my cabin and it is a mid ship mini suite......score!
My question is, sailing is not until June 4th, can they change my cabin again? or once it is assigned we are guaranteed that cabin?
Thanks everyone.
Actually they can move you again. However, I don't think it happens often.

Removed my post.
I guess I posted the old one, sorry.

Unlimited trips to the thermal spa. It does not include any spa services.
I love the spa on the new ships. Steam, sauna, and salt rooms. Jetted pool, hot tub, showers and heated lounges. :)
-
Great location! Love having access to spa and Haven.:)
Have a great time from one DVC member to another.
Old Key West is our home resort.

I don't believe that there are any spa rooms on 15.
-
Entrance to spa is on deck 15. You need to go up 1 deck. Your room is right by stairs. Can't get much closer. :)
-
Raffles is the indoor/outdoor buffet dining venue. Deck 12. Also there is the Bier Garten. Deck 13.
Mandara is the spa and fitness center. We did not use it on our Spirit cruise a while back, so I don't know how it is.
That's on deck 12.
:)

We have a roll of clear packing tape. Cover the tag, and we also wrap once around the case for added strength.:)

Can I bring my own water or soda onboard?
Guests are allowed to bring water and soda on board in their original sealed containers. There is no set limit to this amount. We strongly recommend that you carry on the beverages. No coolers of any kind are allowed onboard the ship.
Hope this helps. :)

Yes you can bring on a case. I have put a luggage tag on a case, and it was delivered to the room. Same with Coke products.

We did not like the white awning. You could not see the water anywhere close to the ship. Also, there was a glare from the sun. We were above the bar with music. You could definitely hear the music.
Thankfully, we go to bed late, so the music was over most nights when we returned.
The problems were not terrible, but noticeable.
