The closest restaurant is Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza a block away.

It's not a steak house but most people like it.

 

The closest steakhouses are Bistro Mezzaluna and Outback, both under a mile away, but I personally wouldn't want to walk there at night; the main street has very heavy traffic and the side streets are too desolate, and there are a lot of vagrants around.

 

There is also a cool neighborhood craft beer bar a half mile south called Riverside Market South, on SE 6th Ave, that serves food, including excellent thin pizza.

We are staying at Crowne Plaza at Ft. Lauderdale and our flight won't be in until after 8pm. Does anyone have any knowledge of a restaurant that is close or should we just grab a taxi and go someplace? Also recommendations for a good steak house? Although, any food at that hour would be great!

We booked this hotel through LMT, and we will be landing in FLL about 8 ish. We would like to grab dinner after dumping our luggage off at the hotel, is there anything around there that is safe to walk to or should we take a cab? I appreciate any input!

Cruzncouple, any chance you could try to post your findings when you return? I really want to do this and recently saw a spa menu and it wasn't listed =[

I will definately let you know what I find out! I have a feeling if it is offered, it is something that you must request. Either that or they don't offer it anymore. Either way, I will find out in 35 days!!!

I hope they do on independence[emoji106] going in January!

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll try not to get my hopes up, but I'll be checking fares on Monday, just in case. I just got back $100 each cabin that we booked several weeks ago. Granted, our fare is still probably over-inflated compared to those who booked early (cruise is Jan 2016) but any little bit helps.

Our price dropped significantly since we booked. How do I go about getting a credit. On carnival it's very easy to do.

Does anyone know if the couples Rasul Spa Treatment is still available on Independence of the Seas? I have tried to research it, but I am finding nothing. I am hoping this is just because You have to schedule it in person. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
