How do you put a Move Up bid in?
and just like that - we have gone over budget! we lost our battle with temptation (note original post, where we had restraint!) and had placed a “MoveUp” offer for a Suite and it was accepted today.
We never thought it would go through as according to the Celebrity “indicator meter”, it was weak (deep red LOL). We bid slightly over minimum. I don’t think the “$3” that was available in my Budget Planner is going to cover it.
Never say never (as we did)! Although we are now unexpectedly over budget, I am deep down over the moon excited to have a suite for our Alaskan adventure on board the revolutionized Millennium.
Now to reprint luggage tags ... again ...- 1

Yes, the new boardwalk has 4-6 different food outlets with snack food, meals, quick bites, etc and drinks - mainly basic mixed drinks, beers, waters, soft drinks...
What can one expect to pay for beer and soft drinks?

Once you hit 15, they won't even let you use your free drink coupon so make sure you pay attention to what number of drinks you are on.

Just got off the magic. MTD was in third floor dining room. We had a group of five to seven every night. Usually went down 7:00-7:30. Only one night were we given a pager and had to wait.

Charter a sail boat or power boat for the day. So many places to snorkel and explore. We've done a private sailboat charter once and then power boats three times. We've used St Thomas boat rental once and Aquablue twice. Next week we will be using Aquablue again. Different destinations each time: Jost van dyke, St. John's, Norman island. Snorkeling, swimming, beach exploring. Always a great day.

Anyone know the price of buckets? Wondering if it is any cheaper to buy them by the bucket compared to individually.

We went to Bayahibe. Did some paddle boarding. Had some poutine at a cafe owned by a French Canadian. Bought some presidente at the store and relaxed on the beach. A small local beach. Did a bit of snorkeling. Had a good and cheap day.

It's down the beach to the right of the pier? Roughly how long of a walk is it?

Is there anywhere besides the cruise port area where we can use loungers/umbrellas/cabana for the day? Need to have somewhere with option of shade.

I bought this package and later realized that it is the least expensive way to spend time at the beach. The beach is public so you need to rent chairs $5.00 each and umbrellas $10.00.

Well worth it, if you do go let me know how it is, planning another trip soon.
Which beach hotel was this at? Did you eat there as well?

I was at Grand Turk last week. There was beer just done the beach, away from the zoo for $3. Bucket of beer , chicken wings and 2 lounge chairs for $25. Jack's Shack was $8-9 for drinks. Don't know about beer there. Jack's Shack has the best jerk chicken $10. :D
Which place were you at? How many ships were in port when you were there?

Looking to head to Cockburn town beach. Are there loungers and umbrellas by sandbar or John's or Barbi's?

I was on the Jewel last week and we had several BBC's. Most bars had menus, but each bars menu was based on a different theme. That being said, we were still able to get whatever we wanted at each of the bars.

Can someone describe where the bars are, as in the order of them.
Are reggae and spice mill at opposite ends? Where is lions rock? Any others?
Do any of the places reserve loungers ahead of time?

Do you happen to remember how much the taxi to Mendenhall cost?
