    Hello all,

We are currently booked on a Caribbean cruise in the Yacht club for February 2025, but thinking about changing to a Middle East cruise for the same week. If we change the reservation, do we keep the same perks or do we get the perks currently being offered?

    Thanks.

Hi. I can't answer your question but I have just changed from a Dubai cruise to the Caribbean from March 25 as I am concerned that if things escalate in the middle east they may well cancel the Dubai cruises.  Just something to think about.

  2. Hi

Has anyone sailed from Brazil recently?  I understand I need a Covid test (PCR or Antigen) with 24 hours of boarding.

The MSC website states: Tests must be laboratory certified. A rapid antigen self-test is not valid for travel purposes.

Does anyone know if a video supervised antigen test will be accepted.  I have used these with other cruise lines but not sure on MSC. They do email a certificate through.

    Thank you

    This is 2020.

Royal Website has pulled sale on cruises from Hong Kong on Voyager Of The Seas.
Nothing on sale from early July 2020 to late September 2020.

Maybe Voyager is going to be used a hotel in Japan for the Olympics. Or going elsewhere because of the recent local issues.

Oh no. I'm booked on the reposition from Hong Kong on the 5th October. Might hold off booking flights for now

  4. Hi

I am looking at booking a cruise for the end of 2020, Hong Kong to Sydney.  Looking on the Australian Royal website I can get a Balcony cabin cheaper than an internal on the UK site.  Am I likely to experience any problems if I book on the Aussie website? I would guess I could just link the booking reference to my C&A account.

The other thing I noticed was that the dining option is called E Sea dining, has anyone come across this? It says you select 1st or 2nd dining and are then seated on a first come first served basis, which doesn't really make sense .  Is this just for the Australian Market or something they are spreading across the fleet?

    Thank you for your help.

    Regards

  5. It’s been very nice to follow your journey. Your writing is very useful and entertaining:)

I wonder if you explored the Cinque Terre villages by train?

Would like to know the distance from the boat to the train station in La Spezia, and how long time it takes to the villages by train? Only 18 days to my cruise:-)

    Hi

I did this cruise a few weeks ago. The train station is just over a mile away, really easy to find. The trains run regularly and it takes about 25mins to the furthest village, stopping at the other 4 on the way.

We did a boat trip to monterosso so we could see the villages from the sea. it took about 2 hours and then got the train back (4 euros)

  6. Hi

I will be on Oasis in September.

At the moment I am unable to book individual speciality restaurants. I can only book 3,4 or 5 night packages.

Does anyone know if this is likely to change or do I have to wait till I get on board.

Also what is the current cost of chops and Giovannis.

    Thank you

  7. Hi

Just a quick question. I'm cruising on Oasis in September and I am just trying to schedule my shows etc.

I am booked on fixed dining at 8pm but one night this would clash with a show. so my question is would I be able to do my time dining for one night and eat earlier?

    Thank you
