We where on the Adventure last pay and when we went to Aruba we booked the Half day land rover adventure it was fun a little bumpy. The beach they took us too after wasn't too bad either. we booked that through the ship
Curacao we did a tour of the city / beach one (I cant remember the name ) but it was good. I think a lot of them ones are pretty much the same this one they took is to mambo beach I though that was the best beach I ever been too. Drinks where reasonable priced there too
Thanks [emoji4]

Page 6 of my review have our excursions from both Curacao and Aruba. We loved the UTV Adventure in Aruba, but were beyond disappointed with the Aquatour in Curacao.
Hope that helps.

Hi EJ -
We are sailing in July. Unfortunately, we are planners, and since this ship hasn't been on this route, there is not a lot of information. Try looking at the Adventure of the Seas excursions. This ship is doing this route this summer. Right now, the Irie Tours - Surf & Turf looks pretty good. I don't wan't an all day excursion. We would also like to explore the town and shops.
Thanks Elaine. We were on AOS last May & did the other Southern route.
Ive looked into Irie tours, looks like they have great excursions.

I have not read about one on this forum but that doesn't mean there isn't one. Why don't you organize one for your cruise, and report back here?
SBtS
Thx. I was posting for a co-worker who is going.

Does anyone know if there is a "dock" party when for Grandeur of the Seas when it docks there overnight?
Thank you

We used AroundCuracaoTours and I cannot begin to say enough wonderful things about Andy. He customized the tour to us and we did exactly what WE wanted to do. It was an amazing tour. If you are looking for beach time, that's what he will do for you. If you are wanting more of something else, that's what he will do. You will get what you want. Your wish is his command.
Thanks.. will def look into this :D

There's plenty of entitled spoiled brat types who bring on their real pets claiming they're "service" animals, and Royal seems to do little to stop the abuse.
Ummm your "arrogant" response has nothing to do with the topic!

I found the offerings for RCL excursions to be extremely lacking and very short at both these ports.
May I suggest Do-it-Yourself? Many here on CC simply grab the local bus up to Palm and Eagle beach for the day. Site seeing on either island is another story, albeit the inner harbor area (Otrabanda and Punda) of Curacao is a must see for a couple of hours on your own before getting on the ship. Just a few ideas here that were difficult to research on CC as there was not much info to be had:
Aruba:

Curacao:

Thx Hoopster. Yeah RCL only has 4 hour tours. Would like longer.

If the ship leaves PR late, cant you do a little shopping before? Does it still leave @ 8:30pm??

Agree in Aruba no need to book a beach excursion through the ship. There are public beaches as indicated that are easily and dependably reached by taxi or bus from the pier. There are also several hotels that for a reasonable fee provide an all inclusive day with beach access, lounge chairs, floating mats, lunch, and open bar. Google it to find options for this if interested.
We've not gone to a beach in Curacao opting instead for the Dolphin swim and car rental sightseeing on one visit, snorkeling on another, and lunch in town with a taxi to the Curacao distillery on another. Perhaps others an help.

In Curacao, we take a taxi to Mambo (Seaquarium) Beach. The taxi, beach access, and loungers cost us around $50 total.

From last thread I saw about it looked like they dropped Powerade, Dasani, and Seagrams. If that's the way it is, could be of less interest than before to those who do not drink soda (me).
The changes (deletions/cuts) on RCCL are getting hard to keep up with..............
Dasani was def still there, not 100% on Powerade & Seagrams.
