  1. Our DD is 6 and just recently learned to snorkel. We got her the US Divers snorkel set. It came with fins, snorkel, mask and a bag. We taught her in the pool and she did great. The snorkel has a purge valve at the bottom which helps with getting rid of water that gets in it. It also has a valve at the top which helps prevents water from getting in if it goes under. We bought the set at BJs for around $30-$35. We are going to take her for the first time in 2 weeks and it will be right off the beach. We are taking her life vest which is bulky but the ocean is a little different than the pool. She used the life vest in the pool and loved it. DH and I have the same set in adult sizes. US Divers also sells a less expensive snorkel. They have no valves on them. Our grocery store sells them for $4.99. I try to grab a few each year so family members that don't have them can use them with our masks since they don't snorkel as often. They have worked great for us. Good luck and have fun!

  2. We just got back from 7 days on the Fantasy and loved FTTF!!! It got us into our room with luggage waiting way before most others. No carrying around bags or coolers of sodas.... All dropped off and enjoying our first drink of the day way early. We had our own line at the service desk and got a call from customer service asking us if we used FTTF for priority tendering at Half Moon Cay. We took our time tendering to HMC and were on Tender 12.... Lots of lounge chairs and plenty of beach to enjoy so we were in no hurry. We did get a special meeting place for disembarkment and pretty sure we were off earlier than most. We chose to let them take our bags and met in the library at 8 am with other FTTF cruisers. This also was wonderful. Lots of porters to push our bags out for us, bus ride to the warehouse and another porter to bring our bags to the car....

FASTER to the FUN is worth it!! Enjoy!!

That's great news! We purchased this too. What time did you arrive to the port and how long did it take you to board?

  3. We like to bring along clothes pins and Boca Clips. The clothes pins come in handy to dry out your bathing suit on your balcony when in port - we clip them to the chair and bring them in before we set sail. We find that they never completely dry in the bathroom. The Boca Clips are great to clip your towel to your chair on the pool deck. It is always windy and you can guarantee your towel will stay in place.

Another item we always bring is candied ginger. Helps settle your stomach after a rich meal or when you feel a little seasick. :)
