We were supposed to eat in the Solarium Bistro, as we had made reservations quite a while ago. The reservation disappeared this afternoon. We assume it is because we had reservations for 5:30 PM, and the app showed that they do not open until 6 PM. We decided to just eat in the MDR, since our previous cruise on Royal Caribbean was in 2019 (Harmony) Is there any advantage in booking the Solarium Bistro? Just tranquility over the MDR or different menu items? Still has a buffet setup and ordered items brought to you? Thanks for the review.

Wasn’t everyone super chill from a quiet trans Atlantic crossing?

Decided against the drink package for my upcoming Symphony sailing. I will be the only one in my party that drinks wine so I would like to avoid any corkage fees. $15 isn’t an ungodly sum but it’s not like I would be bringing anything special onboard. Are they more likely to impose the fee in the MDR vs specially restaurants? If other alcoholic beverages are ordered do they overlook the charge? Just interested in the current landscape. Thanks for any insight.
