What port?
-
The port of Seattle offers luggage valet, but so far Celebrity is not offering the service. Other cruise lines are offering it in various ports, but not Celebrity.

Checking back again... No luggage Valet Service in April. Anyone recently sail out of Fort Lauderdale notice if Luggage Valet Service is being offered yet?
We sailed on Celebrity last month. No luggage valet.
Friends were on princess and had it
Both sailed out of Fort Lauderdale
-
According to other posters, only Celebrity and Royal Caribbean are not offering this service. Princess, Carnival and Holland in Fort Lauderdale are all offering it.

I did GloriaF and signed up on their website.

Holland at Fort Lauderdale has it as well. Just not Celebrity or RC

It wasn’t available at the time of our March 4th sailing (disembarking on March 13) on the EQ in FLL.
I was hoping it would be available, but Guest Relations confirmed it was not.
Darn it! I loved that service. Maybe they will bring it back. The port of Seattle is the only port that I know of, that has it.

I, too, am hoping that Celebrity will offer this again

Thanks much. We did enroll for our upcoming cruise from Seattle, but the FLL cruise port is not offering. Maybe they will bring it back sometime

Does anyone know if this service is still being offered by Celebrity? It was great when we used it pre-pandemic.
I did email and call Celebrity but I got no response or was transferred so many times, I was disconnected.
The text below is from a very widely used travel agency but they could not answer if the service was still available.
“Luggage Valet is a service offered to help make your return travels as carefree as your cruise. The last evening onboard, you can receive your airline boarding passes, luggage tags and baggage claim checks. The last evening onboard, simply place your checked bags outside your door. Celebrity will take care of the rest. From the ship, to your final destination airport - your luggage will be taken care of. And you won't wait in line at the airport for your boarding passes, because you'll already have them. Hassle-free travel. Designed for You.
This service is available in select ports and with select airlines only. Ports: Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, Miami, Port Canaveral, San Diego, San Juan, Seattle, Seward and Vancouver. Airlines: Air Canada, Air Tran, Alaska Airlines, American, Continental, Delta, Jet Blue, Southwest Airlines, United and US Airways. Airline participation varies by port. Consult the Guest Relations Desk onboard for specific port qualifications and additional information. An additional fee will apply”

I read their website and reviews. My concern is that it appears they run shuttles, which means you have to wait until the shuttle is full and everyone’s luggage is loaded. If you find differently, please post.

@Ferry_Watcher you are awesome! Thank you!

@Ferry_Watcher you are correct, I am definitely over thinking this! Thanks for the kind words and helpful info
-
@Ferry_Watcher I was just looking at private transportation sites and they all posted that they needed to wait in a lot, so no advantage there.
-
We are open to reserving a private car for pick up to airport. As long as they can drive to the area in front of terminal, that would work.
-
So, I order an Uber once off the ship, then get a shuttle to a lot, and then find where the uber is parked? Hmmm, think I will stick with a taxi
-
Never used Uber or Lyft. How do you tell them when to pick you up when you do not know when will disembark?
-
We return on May 23. We will be walking off and carrying off our luggage. Flight is at 11:05. Thanks!
-
Are there still lines of taxis available at Pier 91 for disembarking passengers to Sea-Tac? We have a tight flight time and want to walk off and get in a cab and go.

You could take a read of this thread - a little dated but will probably give you a good idea
I did see this but not much help. Thanks though

Hello! Can anyone give me some info on this cabin? I have searched everything I can find and some say it is obstructed and some say not. Some say large balcony, some say not.
-
Perfect! Thanks so much

Nope. Not obstructed. Just huge.
Thanks! Is it partially covered?
