How would people using the wrong place force everyone to use the wrong plate? That's just dumb. If I'm following a group of car, and they all take a wrong turn, I most certainly will not follow them.

Sit at a circular table let's say 6 peeps

One person uses the beard plate on right , then the next folowed by another and the. It come to where u are sitting so one must eventually yield

If someone is polite and respectful to people that's all that matters.

 

To get angry over someone using the wrong bread plate or the wrong fork is ridiculous and petty. But coming from someone who in another thread said they wouldn't take a free cruise if it was in an inside cabin, it's not real surprising.

 

This post is a great example of why so many people now want to be seated with only their traveling companions. Because who wants to be stuck with someone getting angry over someone using the wrong plate. Life is too short to deal with people who think they are above everyone else.

 

And btw isn't it considered the epitome of bad manners to point out others lack of manners?

Just because I know which bread plate to use does not make me bad , judging others wrongly It just means I know what plate to use. When someone sits and uses the wrong plate , if kinda force the remaining people to use the wrong plate

It doesn't make them less it just shows they do not know what plate to use.

I too do not sleep in inside rooms, won't go even if free

It doesn't make me better , just makes me someone who does not like inside rooms. Also I choose to sit with friends cause I hate to be judged for my ways

Different strokes

If it were me I can or quickly. I got stuck twice in the early years once was a Trinidad clubs cruise , the other some wacky self help / motivational cruise .

I know that there will be some kind of on here trying to suggest that perhaps it's a bias or make it something that it not.

For me I book to enjoy certain amenities so I don't appreciate told I need to move off the lido deck at 200 pm for a group picture

Or the endless speaches in the met or a complete take over of a venue

Me vacations are to precious , deal or no deal I find another vacation

I would love to see right next to the 24 hr pizza

Fried chicken, burgers , French fries ( with gravy on the side) , deep fried donuts

All 24 hrs of course ! Then the frozen desert and perhaps a self serve heart difibulator

Splurge .. Vacations are precious so anything goes really.

Scrimp ?? Not really .. Well we did pick a budget line I guess

Chopped meat / burgers

just came back from a carnival cruise after a 2 or 3 yr layoff.

We went because there were a total of 6 couple that booked .

One couple were gamblers. Well not gamblers , they played slots ( Im a 21 player :D) . Anyway this couple won big on the last nite, she won 2k, he won 7.5k . both on slots . they both received a free cruise each. so in august they booked two rooms on the breeze.. going with another couple.

it certainly was nice getting a free cruise .. although they are down 47 k on this year alone.. nothing is really free

I always done the lido deck and purchased the spa week pass, for us the best location, convenience on the dream.

Proper identification , credit cards and required meds. Anything else is not an issue

The best way to avoid a hangover is to drink a bottle of water and take 4 ibuprofen before yo go to bed because then you can wake up and do it all over again the next day.

I'm all for hangover solutions but if u do that much ,start searching for a kidney now :D

All loyalty programs are designed to do one thing reward customers who continue to spend

Some programs are old fashioned some are more progressive and advanced

Cruise ships programs are well behind the times , but within the industry there are some better than others

The old way of thinking of every customer is important has givin way to attracting. Customers who spend money on products and services that drive profit.

Most loyalty programs are inching to it and we will see that in the cruise ship industry soon enough

I traveled my my 5 ft 9 in son chauncy who is 300 and a good day

He was up there .... After we left I wouldn't trust a 100 lbs toddler up there :)

I been on the dream class multiple times and never felt crowded embarkation

But that's for all ships

Prior to fttf and subsequent getting the room when u board I never stepped on board b4 200 pm even when I reached platinum

I always hated climbing over water , soda rolling and no rolling bags and peeps trying to eat

That's really the only time i felt the crowds all ships and the fantasy are worse for that

While Roatan is one of my favorite ports..... The only one I would listen to would be my doctor

While I never got and illness nor have my children I never went with a small 2 yo nor have I went when there was an alert on

Overrated - guys / chopped meat , burritos / cheap rice dishes , 1a rooms

If they started serving popcorn 15 mins before the movie starts ( which in most worlds would be sufficient) then there would be many threads started here Giving tips to others on how to save!

Go get 3 bags for a late nite snack

Go get 3 bags for a cheap alternative to buying lunch at a port

Go get many bags and eat before meals as a way to loose pounds .. On and on

You have plenty of timeo would rent a car , would also buy tickets for pearl so u get right in

Then make you way to diamond head , then Waikiki beach see some 50 locations

Go to h1 h2 toward dole plantation , stop for whip

Continue to state park go to waterfall

Drive thru north shore great to see big water / surf

Done it many times

Car should be about 70 buck for the day

Another 20 for parking at the beach

We have never had a problem with AC on any of our cruises

I also would classify us as liking the room very cold

I would not hesitate to get of the ship and do the guarranty thing

Vacation time is precious and I would not in any way waste that time be uncomfortable

I have checked out if hotels for not being comfortable and would do the same for a cruise
