Research KL on Trip Advisor. Then when you are there I would suggest Hop on Hop off bus, stop at the places you have found during your research. Then Shop. Try and fit in a foot massage, you will come out walking on air. Love KL.

Like most people I know I tend to glaze over when adds come on.

Will second the skycab, the views are wonderful and you can see as far as the mountains of Thailand. Near the ticket office you can pay extra and have a guide escort you up and back and avoid the long lines of people waiting at various stops on the way. VIP treatment...but it was our 50th Anniversary. We spent 12 days on the island three years ago and have to agree re the stingers. They are seasonal but I would give swimming a miss. We hired a driver for the day and went round the island. He also waited for us while we went on the skycab. You can also do a trip via small long tail type boat around part of the island which includes the World Heritage "Kilim Geoforest Park". You stay in the boat for the whole trip and only stop off at a floating food stop. You can hire a boat and driver/guide on your own or go with a group. With the ship in port I would assumed both these excursions would be very busy.

Hope she is coming back as we are booked on her next year out of Sydney.

Booked in to do an advanced (seniors) computer course so I can understand what you're all talking about.:D

Will just add to the above. We had a taxi 2 months ago from International Airport to the Wynyard area in as you call it downtown Sydney. It not that far from The Quay area and it cost us AUD$50 at 7pm. Hope that helps.

Love a good debate but I am afraid no one will win this one.

I would have to say PLANT, transport options are influenced by your age, the number of people and bags in your party. We are both in our 70's I'm fine but he has limited mobility. Over the years we have used every type of transport to & from Sydney Airport and a taxi is now always our 1st choice...for the following reasons:- Comfort, availability, direct from A to B at a comparative price.

It's very unwise to use PUBLIC WIFI for anything to do with your money, bank accounts, credit and debit cards or include private and/or personal details.

Well that's how I do it anyway.
Just like that!
no that's not right
I'll keep trying.

A question. If you just want to talk about or answer a small part of a very long post how do you quote just the area you want. I have tried to do that by highlighting the section I want then pressing quote but the entire post always pops up in my reply to I mostly avoid quoting when the post is large. Help.

Hi Craig.
Simple solution....This is what I do... Click on User CP...go to edit options and uncheck show signatures....Easy
That way the pages load much faster as well. If you want to see someones sig, just click on their name and you can check the profile and view all postings...:)
I really need to go to Specsavers. and thanks for the info. IMO not a real problem in this forum.

Thanks for that info OzKiwiJJ. I did wonder why the two different prices. I though the $59 was current and Princess knew something we didn't know about the AUD hence the huge increase for next year. Will check it out with our Cruise Holiday Planner as we booked direct with Princess. Yes its the Hawaiian cruise. Can't wait.
-
Is that for a cruise with USD onboard costs? If so the USD price of the package is US $56.35 so AU $76.07 is close to current exchange rate conversion.
Check what rate they are offering OBC for.
Cruise and Beverages package prices are in AUD as the cruise is Australian based...Sydney to Sydney 34 days cruise.
-
Just looking at some of the prices mentioned above I think Princess must assume our dollar is going to drop substantially in the next 12 months or the price of alcohol is being taxed out of reach, as their "All inclusive beverage package" quoted for a cruise we have booked for 2017 is now $76.07. Alternatively five twist tops of beer for the price of four $30.

Sounds wonderful. You will love the Greek Islands. Ditto the Diamond. Safe return.

I think Bazzaw is perhaps referring to the hygiene practices of those who contract noro. I don't agree with his conclusion, however. It is a highly contagious disease and even with strict hand washing etc it is still possible to become infected and does not necessarily indicate poor personal hygiene habits.
Agree as well. It doesn't matter how careful one is...if it's going to get you it will. and usually if your a reasonably healthy person you will just ride it out.
Smooth Sailing ???

As you probably are aware our weather is unpredictable. Princess ships have good stabilisers so don't be too worried. Just enjoy.
