  1. Those thinking food is bad on Carnival, I have three letters for you…. MSC. 😎. You try that and Carnival seems like it has several Michelin stars. MSC has great ships, excellent Production shows, love their private island (with many cruises overnighting for 2 days on the island). But the food..,. I am hopeful with some of the Carnival debt being paid down from the shut down, higher cruise prices and if inflation will level off, we may see some improvement in quality soon. Saying that, I have never starved on any cruise, even MSC.
  2. Hi Everyone, This will be my first cruise on a newer NCL ship (went on Spirit and Sun years back). I understand the reservation process for dining, but still having problems finding information about entertainment reservations. I understand making reservations for the Production Shows: Six and Burn the Floor. However, do you have to make reservations for the Dueling Piano, Comedy shows and other music venues in advance of sailing (120 days out)? If you do, just trying to understand how I will know what I will feel like doing after a day in port before boarding the cruise. Are movies shown at night on the movie screen at Spice H2O? Anything very unique to the Breakaway that is unique/different from other cruise lines that may not be obvious for someone going on a “newer” NCL ship. Truly appreciate any info and advice. Thank You.
  3. I also suggest Pig and Anchor as it is only open on Embarkation and Sea days. Very calm and not crowded at all usually.
  4. Thank you for the review. I am cruising in August and this information was helpful.
