  1. Thank you Mike, safety is a number one when with kids. We'll see how congested it is that day and definitely pass on the bikes if we feel it isn't safe! I guess we could always get a 6 passenger of the little cars, we'll see how it goes. Thank you for your concern!

  2. I'm a bit puzzled about your statement that the premium drink package was only $115 for two people, for a 5-night cruise. I went on the Celebrity web site, as I was curious about how much it would be for my 4-night cruise and when I chose this option, the price came up as $496.80! Can you clarify for me? What am I doing wrong here?

He most likely received the Classic package on the 123Go Sale and the $115 was the price to upgrade to Premium

  3. No one has been able to answer this about a 5 night cruise and the photo package. Did they have any sales the first day or two on the packages? I know they offer deals online before you go and I know they offer sales on the 7 nights, but unable to confirm if they offer any deals on the 5 nights. Thought I would see if you noticed anything? Thank you in advance.

  4. I posted this question and others over on the Key West Board but no one has answered any of my questions there. No one. No one answers quicker than these folks here on the Celebrity board!

Am hoping someone can tell me if Key West is flat and good for bicycle rides? I see they rent a lot of bikes, just seeing if it is nice and flat and easy to ride. We have never been there so I have no idea. Bringing our tweens ( 9 and 11) and love to bike but don't want to wear everyone out if it is really hilly.

I also wondered if there was a better bike rental place there that would come recommended.

    Any answers are appreciated. Thanks.

  5. HI we are 3 adults and 3 kids (tweens) and no plans for our stop in Key West 8:00-4:00. Never been and we really want to see the island at our own pace. Thinking of renting bikes. Here are my questions: Is it nice and flat or will we be dealing with a lot of hills? We love biking in Hilton Head when we vacation there and can go for hours, but here where we live in NC it is just to hilly and we only do it for exercise. We don't want to wear ourselves out, just want a fun way to explore the town. Would it be better to just walk around?

If it is flat, is there a better bike rental company to go with? Anyone know the prices or have a link? Do they provide helmets for the kids?

If it is hilly we may look into the cart rentals. Is there one that offers a 6 passenger one?

For both, do they rent by the hour or a day rate?

    Thank you for any help!

  6. This may be a crazy question, but we are driving so actually COULD do it, but does anyone ever take their own little beach chairs for the pool deck? Mine has a shoulder strap ( and a cup holder for my drink :D) so it would be easy to carry on board. Not sure if I WILL do it but might be something to consider? Anyone ever see this? Is there even room to set up by the pool like this ( we will be on Connie)?

  7. YAY! Thanks so much to both of you for doing all that work! I can read them from the screen but when I print them, they print to small to read. I am so impressed you were able to scan all these and I can't even figure out how to print them to be able to read them. Anyone have any suggestions for me. In very simple terms please, LOL.

  8. Thanks for the Update! I am going to give it a try. Won't be disappointed if we do not receive one, just pleasantly surprised if we DO get one. Can't hurt to try! Thanks!

  9. As mentioned, all 3 are the same, here is a look, http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kp4Ur9gvHuI, We sailed in a C2 on deck 9 last yr on the Reflection because we wanted the additional Capt Club points. We have a 1A on deck 8 for our up coming trip. The additional perks are worth different things to each of us, but the is no diff in the cabin. Now  we do try and get one on the angle of the hump because the balcony is bigger there.

Wallie, I loved your video! Thanks for that. I am going to go get those bins at Target for sure! GREAT IDEA! Thanks!

  10. Oh actually if you wouldn't mind checking, could you please let me know if any of the photo packages are on sale on the ship? We would like to get one and they are 10%off if you book prior to sail, however I read on another thread that they were on sale for 20% for the first half of the cruise ( this was a 14 day cruise) so would love to know if they do this on the short cruises as well. If that's to much to check on than no worries, just thought I would ask. I am looking forward to seeing the dailys! Thanks so much for doing that!

  11. Thanks Wallie, I have been to the website and noted the prices, was just wondering if they go ON SALE on the ship on a 5 day cruise as mentioned above on the longer cruises. Just trying to decide what the BEST price will be. Would hate to buy online ( at 10% less) and then see that they are on sale on the ship ( at 20% less) and same goes for vise versa, would hate to wait to buy on ship ( at full price) and know I could have gotten them for less online ( at 10% less).

I know 10% is not a whole lot but every penny counts and I like to know all my options. That is why I asked if anyone knew if they do sales ON THE SHIP on a 5 day cruise.

  12. Thanks for the all the answers and links everyone, they have been very helpful! This is just our first Celebrity cruise so no coupons for us yet. But we will definitely get a photo package, just need to decide if it will be just photos or the photo & CD package.

Does anyone know if they run any specials or sales on 5 night cruises? It is my understanding that if you book BEFORE departure date it is about 10% less than if you book onboard, but this is the first I am hearing of a sale?

  13. AWESOME! Thanks for all the responses, you are all wonderful! I think we will check out Beach Pace or Las Olas Blvd (LuLu's sounds fun), both sound like what I was looking for!

I guess I'm just used to the beaches in the Carolinas where there is no parking unless you are staying at the Hotels and most of the beaches are to private to get to because of all the houses on the land in front of them. I haven't been to FL other than Disney in over 15 years and then ( before kids) I had $ to blow on the beach hotels! LOL

Looking forward to our vaca! Thanks!

  14. So is the beach all public? We are still deciding on the hotel, but we know to save $$ it will not be ON the beach. We have a car and can drive anywhere. Can you go to the different hotels and use that beach or do you have to be staying there? Is there a fun tikki hut or restaurant on the beach to grab lunch? Is there a spot to park where one can access the beach?
