The brush used is called Purest Palm body brush and it is 9.99 at Bed Bath and Beyond. Go on their website and read reviews about the brush and how to use a dry brush. I love it.

Someone on this site or the Alaska site told me about a brush you can buy at Bed Bath and Beyond and rub your ankles feet and legs. I took a cruise in March and flew to Ft Lauderdale and then 7 day cruise. No swelling. Took the brush with me on cruise and used twice a day. Still do it now that I am at home. Will be going to Alaska in May , brush will go. Brush costs (9.95). I think the thread was this really works. Also the Elemis products but I don't use. Don't want to grease up the brush. Since I have started this my heels are greatly improved and soft. Worth a try.

I got the same message.

Had inside cabin on the Allure in March. Would wait and try to get a ocean view or balcony. I think you really miss something on the cruise when you cannot look out and see the ocean. Will never do inside again.
-
I was on Allure in inside cabin in March , on deck 11. If you can afford get Oceanview or balcony. I will never ever cruise in inside. You miss so much not being able to at least see something out. I did not like the darkness all the time.

I always wear long sleeves or sweater to the dining room on any ship.
-
I have cruised inside cabin 1 time. Never again. Too dark and don't always know when we dock. We have a balcony cabin for our May Alaska on deck 7.

YES YES YES go for the Boardwalk balcony near the back.Got a good outside view of the sea. Off the Allure March 9th. Wonderful trip.

Don't forget to try the Cherry Crepes in the MDR for lunch. Oh so good. On the Allure March 2. Thanks for your sail away pics. The ship was late leaving so it was dark by the time we sailed. Also 5 hours late leaving Nassau on Monday.

My metered Taxi ride was 12.90 from port everglades to airport. 2 of us and we had 4 bags so I just gave him $ 20.00. March 9

I was on the Allure the week before March 2. They transitioned people and crew over to daylight savings time Friday at 3 am. Did'nt hardly notice as last 2 days were sea days. Good idea. Not so hard to get up on Sunday to leave. Wonderful cruise and ship.

Just off the Allure a couple weeks ago. Although the ship is large easy to get around. Just remember, your Deck 5 as your main street. You have the shows on the front of the ship, you eat on the back of the ship and pools and chairs hot tubs on the top. We did not get lost once . Main decks we used were 5 6 8 and 15 and 16. worked well for us. Would love to go again.

Be sure to try the Tutti Salad and Cherry Crepes. So delicious.

On the Allure March 2nd and I ordered coffee for 2 every morning. Tipped 2 -3 dollars. Always take $1 bills . Just mark time you want delivered and they called and told us was coming.

Does this effect cabin 7660 or are we back far enough out of the way?

Could someone tell me if the Radiance of the Seas have the newer plastic shower doors or the old curtains?

Formal nights on cruises have changed a lot these past few years. We no longer want to pay to take extra bags for formal wear. I was on the Allure the week of May 2nd and I saw some tuxedos, few long dresses and a lot of jeans in the dining room every night. I will be going to Alaska in May and my husband will wear jeans some nights to dine and me too probably. You should not skip the MDR and just be comfortable. We will be on a 2 week trip so we have to take clothes in 1 bag each for the trip.

Just got off the Allure a couple of weeks ago, I would go directly to the restaurants when you get on board. Givo's is right across from Park Cafe in Central park on deck 8 and you can get a great lunch there as soon as you board.
-
Need transportation from Seward to Anchorage for 8 people. Don't want the train. Who have some of you used.
-
When you board go straight to Park Cafe on deck 8 in Central Park. Was not crowded early , had a very good salad and delicious roast beef and some desserts.

Go Allure. Floriders, Zip line all pools and adult beautiful solarium are on decks 15 and 16. Saw the lofts last week and you would have beautiful views.

Just off the Allure last week. Boardwalk has a lot for kids. A carousel with brightly painted horses, face painting most every day. Would definitely pick Allure. I have been on 5 Carnival cruises and Royal ships just seem to be a big step up. Have fun.
-
On the Allure last week. No chocolates.

Just off the Allure Sunday. Ate breakfast in the dining room most mornings. Eggs cooked to order. The salads and Cherry Crepes at lunch are delicious. The wipeout cafe also does eggs to order. French toast in Winjammer was great, main dining room , not so good. Did not really find any place too crowded. Salads and crepes are in dining room. Loved to be waited on.
