  1. Hi All

Im looking at the Bev package/w vroom. Quite expensive but apparently a discount currently (I have not cruised for a while- it was like $32 a day before lol).

Is it totally refundable as the small print says there may be a fee if cancelled?

Does it it include Lattes/cappicinos?  On Navigator of Seas

    Thank you.

It's nice that Royal Caribbean has finally caught up to some of the other cruise lines that have been allowing mixed mRNA doses pretty much all along, based on the exact same CDC guidance.

This also bodes well for Canadians with mixed mRNA doses who want to enter the US for any reason, once the new vaccination requirements come into effect.

Now if they could just sort out the AstraZeneca situation...

Does it though? Most of us Canadians who got 2 different mRNA had an interval of 2-4 months    I’m reading max interval 28 days.  New study just came out today on mRNA (peer reviewed) saying if u are 16 weeks apart better protection. Wish they would follow the updated science.  I’m az Pfizer so I’m not sure when I’ll be cruising 😢

Not 100% factual but just after we got our 3rd shot (2nd PHZ) we read somewhere it had to be max 42 days... funny enough we didn’t plan it we just took it as soon as we could and after reading it we added up our days and we were 2 hrs within the 42 day window... now I don’t believe this is actually a thing but I could be wrong...

I believe it is. On one of the threads I read a couple denied boarding because their 2nd shot was 44 days not 42.   I’ve also read getting a 3rd shot will not count yet as they are only looking at first 2.  I’m mixed so I’ll just cruise out of Europe.  Less hassle

  4. Yes I think people have to be very careful.  The insurance companies will sell you covid insurance but as soon as anything goes to level 4 ( like cruising) u will not be covered.  They will sell you it though You need to do homework and specifically ask. Also some agents will say you are covered when you are not. A few do not know it seems.  I have an agent who is very thorough

also I just got home from land trip  Italy in July. I bought 2 insurance.  One would cover 209 a day quarantine if I got covid for 10 days ( land only - they told me it would not cover cruise- manulife). Also said it would not cover anything level 4 but thus was july 2-15.  Things are changing fast

  5. Received an FCC for a cancelled cruise March 20. Cancelled one day before RCC cancelled so only received credit nit refund that needed to be used by feb 2022.
booked feb 22 cruise out of Singapore

Royal cancelled July 7 apparently (I have not received email yet)

will Royal extend my FCC now?? Also had drink package purchased.  I’m assuming they will refund this

In Saskatchewan we have a little card that they stamped with the 1st dose and date and 2nd dose and date.  What I wish they hadn't done what put what kind it was.  We are ok because my husband and I both got Pfizer, but we know of others who have a mixed dose.   We also received stickers..saying fully vaccinated.  Not sure how much weight those hold.

The studies from uk have been released. AZ followed by Pfizer 9x more immune responses created therefore I’m sure this mix will be accepted 🤞😀

The countries who have not yet approved the mixed vaccines for entrance will likely change their stance once more counties go the mixed vaccine route. But when that will happen is the issue for people like yourself who are planning travel over the next few months. The realist in me suspects that if a country like Barbados or Bahamas see that one or two of their large tourist originating  countries have gone the mixed vaccine route they will be rather quick to approve mixed vaccines. 💲 talks.

Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

Yes, it will be widely accepted probably when the big study out of the UK is released end June/ mid July.

currently the Spain and Germany studies released say efficacy is Better with AZ followed by Pfizer

    countries mixing are

    canada

    italy

    uk

    spain

    france

    germany

plus others, not to mention people who can not for some reason such as allergies have the same second dose which has happened in usa many times.

Mixing will be widely accepted as Who is stating this and also stating the acceptable vaccines.

  8. Same thing happened to me.  I was ONE day cancelled before rcl cancelled!!! No refund. Had insurance but they of course won’t pay me because I have a credit.
I picked a cruise for feb next year ( the furthest away LOL).
hopefully, we will go if covid stays lower but the new variants and everyone opening so quickly has me concerned.

Sorry to say but I’ve really checked into this as I would rather a refund but it is credit only

If you changed the name the FCC would go back to the original person...not you.

You would then have to pay the fare for the new guest at the original price.  The price would not change just by changing the name.

    Thank you

  10. Thanks

so if I paid for one person with their fcc because of a cancelled cruise, I can change the name but the credit would come back to me for another cruise then I would have to pay for the new person? And the price of the cruise has gone up substantially. Would the new person get the old ( lower) price?  Sorry lots of questions

The legend on the deck plans will tell you how many berths are in the cabin.  There is a difference between a sofa and a sofabed.  If there is a sofabed, the cabin will have berths for up to four people.

Ya it says only 2 people.  I was just wondering if anyone has had success with asking for a 3rd. All the balconies are sold out

A good price on the deluxe would be $45

    Refreshmrnt would be $28

It does not include the freestanding Starbucks on Oasis class and I believe that there is now one on Mariner.

You can still get the lattes at the cafe promenade.

I’m on the voyageur of seas out of Singapore.  Been trying to see what coffee shops but can’t seem to find. So now that package is 44 and 52 with the vroom 1 device. Maybe I should get hmmm  I drink 2 lattes each morning !!:)
