We will be on the Odyssey Oct. 7 out of Rome. Please let me know what time the ship docks at the end, and what time they let the passengers off. I heard it docks at 5:30 Am and passengers get off at 6:30 AM. Are you going right to the airport when the ship docks? If so, let me know how long to the airport, and how long to get to the gate. Thanks

I was advised that passengers can disembark at 6:30 AM.

We have a private pick up at 7:00 AM.

I'm a gambling man, so we are going to try it. My neighbor just got off the same cruise, and made a 10:00 AM flight. If not, oh well.

What if we have priority check in and Priority security line thru United?

We are going on the OOS from Rome. Doing a pre cruise trip into Rome, and going home to the US right after the cruise. Can we make a 10:30 am departure from FCO? I know it's about an hour drive by private transfer. Thanks

We are sailing on the SOTS on Nov. 6, for a 7 night cruise. Does anyone know if there will be any formal nights, and if so, what days and how many? Thanks

When we were diamond, we received 3 free drinks from 5-8, and since we didn't drink, we could get 3 Coke Zero's in the can at any bar. Now that we are D+ members, Is the free 5 drinks anytime of day, and do they still let you get soda?

Don't know if this helps, but we changed from Oasis to Symphony. Looks like Symphony has a few different changes. We like to try new ships.

I need help.Does anyone know who I can contact to get a group sitting for Dining? There are 4 couples going on the Oasis of the Seas in February and we all used a different travel agent. I called RCCL to get us to sit together for dining, but since we used different agents, he couldn't do it. We all have the same my dining time, but not together. So I would like to e-mail whoever is in charge of dining on the Oasis. Thanks

Especially enjoyed the crepe station in the Windjammer.

We were on that same sailing. My credit card was actually billed less than th what the bill was on the ship.

We hit 140 on our Baltic Cruise last August. Didn't receive the block. They told us we had to finish the cruise and we would get it on the next one. We went on the Allure in February and we asked about the block. That night we received our block with the Allure of the Seas on it. It's actually a pretty nice block.

This is my 19th cruise with RCCL, and I must say I think they kicked the food up a notch and also the desserts. I really enjoyed eating the food. The cheesecake actually tasted like cheesecake and not that spongy cake like they used to have. They also had a crepe station in the Windjammer for dinner. And, my 4 year old grandson and 5 year old granddaughter loved the kids club. Each morning when they woke up they kept asking to go to the club. Since I've had them on a Disney cruise also, they liked the kids club on Allure much better. The dining room was nice for the adults, but the little ones got antsy because it takes a while to get your food, that's why we sometimes ate in the Windjammer.

I stay at the Holiday Inn Bayside. A nice nightlife area right across the street called Bayside Market. A good place to walk around and if you want to go to Miami beach, there is a bus stop right across the street.

We would love to have you sit with us, but we are a family of nine. We have a granddaughter that is 4 1/2, and she makes friends with everyone and I know she would love to hang out with your daughter. We will also have 3 other grandchildren with us.

Allure has set boarding times. When you complete your set sail pass, there will be a time you can choose to arrive. You will also get an email, which I just did stating what time to arrive.

Paid $2200 for an inside cabin on the Carnivale back in 1983 for my honeymoon. There was no 110V receptacles in the room. You had to go to a convenient room where there were 110V plugs. You could smoke in the dining room. It was 26,000 tons. Small compared to todays standard. But boy, I thought I was a big shot cruising with the rich people.

A true Italian restaurant. Spaghetti and meatballs, Ravioli's , Stuffed Shells, Lasagna Etc. With a good NY style pizza attached. Also would be great, Pub Grub, Onion Rings, Hot Wings, etc.

Also, your cup won't work in the Coke Machine. This isn't a problem for me because I don't carry my cup with me in the evening. Only use the cup at the pool and in my room.

Yes you can use a Tervis cup. It's just like using their coke cup. They just make you take the top off. I used to always take my Tervis, but now I use a Yeti. Styas colder much longer.

When I disembark the Allure in Ft. Lauderdale, where do I get the Enterprise shuttle bus? I rented a van for a post Everglades Airboat ride. Also, where is the Global Entry line when I get off the ship? Thanks

You get the sticker if you buy the package on board and they hand you the cup right away. If you prepay for the soda package before you sail, then there is a coca cola stamp on your sea pass card when you check in. The free soda package with the room has the stamp on it. Either way, you don't have to carry the cup with you. I bring my own yeti type cup, because it is bigger. The cup they give you is not that big and when they put the ice in it, there isn't much room for soda. The bigger cup is great around the pool deck, but that's the only place I use a cup.
British Isles Cruise 5-24-2023
in British Isles/Western Europe
Posted
Hello all, we are going on a British Isles Cruise on May 24, 2023. Would like to get information on the below cruise stops.
Iverness, Scotland
Glasgow, Scotland
Belfast, Northern Ireland
Holyhead, Wales
Liverpool, England
Cork, Ireland
Dover, England
Are there any stops that we can just get off the ship and walk into town and go on our own? What stops should we take an excursion, and any recommendations on excursions? We just came off a Holland Cruise, and we realized that some of the stops we could get off ourselves and get free transport by the ship into town. So any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
