Talk about germs. Think about the handrails. All those kids sneezing in their hands and then the parents telling them to hold onto the handrail so they don't fall. Between handrails and money, the hot tub is nothing. Jus saying

Just remember that whatever they put on there WOW sale or any other price, it will be the same with every other travel agent. All prices are the same wherever you go. A travel agent can't get it cheaper than anyone else.

On my last cruise, I prepaid for the coke package, and when I got on this ship, I upgraded to the royal replenish. They will credit you for the soda package and then charge you for the new package. I did this on our first day.

I am now booked for 3 cruises, Greece, Caribbean and S. Caribbean. On the cruise for Greece, we scored a panoramic ocean view room for $150.00 less that what we originally had for a room on the second deck with a window. Anybody know of a good hotel near the pair in San Juan?

When we were on Indy in December, we booked 4 open bookings for $100 each. Now that we are home, we booked 4 cruises and only had to pay an additional $100 for each cruise booked.

On the Indy in December the pool attendants put little paper clocks on your chair stating the time it was put there with a 30 minute notification. So if you weren't back in 30 minutes, your chair was given up. And they were pretty quick with it. Twice I went to get a drink at the pool bar and came back, and there was the sign.

no tax, but a gratuity.

Holiday Inn Express on 17th St. Free shuttle from airport and free breakfast. The trolley stops right outside the hotel and it will take you to the beach in a few minutes.

I'm glad they added the non alcohol package. love those Lava Flows. It was well worth the price of 120 for the week. I have been buying the soda package ever since they came out with it, and RCCL never required every one in the room to purchase it, or any other drink package.

For heavens sake, do not bring a blow up pool for the pool deck. Can you imagine if every parent brought one. Besides that it's a safety issue. And please do not drop off your little ones in the kids club. You are there to have a vacation with them. I met a couple who every day dropped off their kids all day long. You're there to have a vacation with them. Enjoy them while they are still little, they grow up too fast. At that age, I think Disneyworld would be a much better place for the kids. It is geared more for the little ones. RCCL does do a lot with little ones, but it is still geared to adults.

My wife got sick on a Med. cruise and went to the clinic on ship. Told her she had Norovirus. Confined to her pom and gave her just about everything for free. Called to check on her, but i think it was to make sure she was in her room. When we got home, they sent both of us voucher for 988 dollars apiece. Problem was, after my wife laid on the bed for 3 hours, she got up and was fine. So I don't think it was Norovirus. Norovirus feels like you want to die. I think she got a little motion sickness on a bus ride up Amalfi Drive. The point is, if you are sick, once you go to the onboard clinic, they will confine you to your room for the duration as a safety precaution for them.

We are cruising in Splendor of the Seas to Greece. We have a "Panoramic View Room Cabin." Does anyone know anything about this room? There are no pics on the website. It states that it has floor to ceiling windows.

We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express on 17th St. in Ft. Lauderdale. Can you walk to the ship, or is it to far to lug our luggage that far? if we take a cab, does anyone know how much that costs?

We will be sailing on the Indy December 1, is there a place we can watch the Redskins play the Giants? or any other football game?

Thank you so much for the info. Looking at the pictures brought back memories. I went home and took out a picture of the shiop that we bought on the ship and have it framed.

My wife and I spent our honey moon on this ship in 1983. There was no where to plug in any thing electric. I think it was converted to a cruise ship from some other type of ship. I remember standing in the dining room and you could almost touch the ceiling. What ever happened to her?
Cruise with teen grandchild without passport

Legally from any US port, the cruise lines cannot not allow you to bring your grandson on board with a notarized letter signed by only one parent. Since the father is not in the picture, then you will have to get a court order stating you are the sole legal guardian. Anybody that states that were let on with just one signature was lucky and the cruise lines violated the law. Allowing that to happen with only one signature van be a parental kidnapping, and yes grandparents have been known to take their grandkids without permission. This was put in place to prevent one parent taking off with the child. It was also put in place, so that one of the parents parent could not help by doing it themselves.
