Sorry, have I missed the point here? Brit. Club costs a fair bit more than Britannia, and the main perk is the dining, so what is the point of booking it, if one chooses to dine elsewhere?

I knew I would be asked this by someone and I agree with you. The one couple who are booked in the Britannica Club; they are very specific in where they want their stateroom. The Balcony stateroom locations which are still available with the dining in the Britannica Restaurant are not suitable for this couple.

  2. Does anyone know if two couple who are traveling together in a different category of staterooms. One couple is booked in a Balcony Stateroom who is scheduled to dine in the Britannica Restaurant while the other couple is in a Britannica Club Stateroom. Can the couple who are scheduled to dine in the Britannica Club, dine with the other couple in the Britannica Restaurant? I do know the couple who has the Britannica Restaurant can not dine in the Club restaurant.

I did try to search for the Maitre' D's email address on the QM2. Does anyone know what it is?

  3. As of right now are plans are:

Aruba - go to the beach somewhere - last time we were in Aruba, we went to the beach right behind the Amsterdam Manor, but they know longer have day passes for cruisers.

St. Martin's - Currently thinking about going to the beach with the Maho beach. Last time we were in St. Martin's, we went to the beach in town within walking distance of port. It was a nice beach and is still a possibility.

St. Thomas - We love Magens Bay and again are going there.

Curacao - We are currently thinking about getting a day pass at the Santa Barbara Beach Resort.

  4. Congrats on booking your first cruise and I hope you will love Norwegian as much as we do! Nothing is more exciting than that first cruise, Our first cruise we ever took was on the Norwegian Star and to this day, she holds a special place in our hearts.

  5. OK, I found your other thread . . . Yes, I have been there numerous times. In the 90's whenever, I would go to New Orleans I always made the Club my hotel. At that time they had unlimited in and out privileges for out of town guests. I also would recommend going. The facilities are pretty good. But the clientele can be hit and miss. During the week, it can be pretty slow in there, but the week-end can be better.

  6. Has anyone been here before. Will be in New Orleans in November before my cruise and was interested in checking it out. Any information?
